Well our plan was to go in Jan of 10 so we booked fo rDecember wtih the plans to change it ot Jan when the rates came out this summer. Today I changed it to September 22-26.

Jumping in here...my Dad is also a huge Bear fan. He is actually a Chicago sports fanatic. How cool your DH grandfather played for the Bears! We are looking forward to next season!

We will be at AS Movies Sept. 21-26. First trip and we are driving from Oklahoma! Excited about the free dining for sure.

I was able to talk my DH into going 9/14 through 9/19. It will be to celebrate our 25th anniversary, which was actually in May 2008; but DH's father had just passed away so we didn't plan a trip since we didn't want to be away. I am so excited. DH said he'd only go if we stayed at Boardwalk Inn. Since I've only ever stayed at Ft. Wilderness and POR, I'm even more excited now!

What position did your FIL play?

I have heard good things about MNSSHP. Hope you have a great time.
My FIL played defensive tackle. He had just earned a starting position when he blew out his knee and couldn't play anymore.

My DH grew up in Chicago area. We now live in Kansas City area.

If my kids complain about being bored I threaten to take their toys and games away then they'll know bored really is. That shuts them up pretty fast.

We have driven our last 2 trips and it was not nearly as horrible as I thought it would be. Having a DVD player helps immensely!
