Official Race Announcements 3 months out

I noticed on RunDisney's site that it says event communications will be sent out 3 months prior to the event. We are almost at 2 months for the marathon and nothing has been updated. Not even the course map! Is this normal?

My guess is that they will not update any information for Marathon Weekend until after the Wine and Dine Half weekend is over. It seems like they update events in order and the W&D will be the last event before marathon weekend. Just my guess though.

I noticed last year that the estimated dates used were on the optimistic side and that you have to be patient when it comes to the announcements. I remember the runner tracking said it would be available about a month prior and it was maybe 2 weeks prior to the race.

Good to know! It's not important, but I like having little milestones to look forward to, even if it's something simple
