Just booked for a quick return in October just for MNSSHP. :thumbsup2
We were just there Nov 30th-Dec 5th, fabulous week!
Always wanted to go for the Halloween party!
This trip it's just me, DS2 (he'll be 3 then) and my oldest DD who will be 20.
My middle kids are not happy about missing the trip, but I promised them a return trip for them at some point too.

We are booked for Oct 19th-Oct 21st, doing MNSSHP Oct 20th. Waiting to see the schedules once released, to make sure this plan works. :)
Since we are only doing the party this trip, gotta get the fav characters in, so hoping for Ohana breakfast, (DS discovered Stitch this last trip and he is now a favorite!) And probably swing over to catch Minnie, Donald and Goofy in their beach attire! :goodvibes

Just booked VWL for October 19-26. No MNSSHP for us. MVMCP, we felt, was over booked. Looking forward to Food and Wine and just being back to our beloved VWL.

We are heading back for our annual October trip in 2015 :) We will be at CBR from October 4-18 with a free dining bounce back offer. I can't wait! :cool1:

Welcome to the adventure! My family is going the same dates. Not sure if we are leaving here (North of Nashville, TN) on the 9th or 10th. It all depends on what my kids having going on since my oldest is now in HS. Congrats on the pregnancy! How exciting!

Looks like we are "neighbors" :) We are just East of Nashville!

Planning a trip October 25-31. waiting to book and hoping for free dining. I do have a question. if I book a package say in March or April and then free dining becomes available lets say in May will my travel agent be able to add that to my package?

They can only if there are rooms available. Disney sets a certain amount of rooms aside for the free dining promotions. If the free dining is released, you have to cancel your existing reservation and book one of the free dining rooms. Even if you already have an existing reservation, it doesn't matter as you have to book a new room anyway.

That being said, we usually go ahead and book a room anyway. We go the same time every year, and will go with our without free dining. So, we book a room at the resort we really want to stay at just in case free dining doesn't fall in to our travel dates. We have been able to get free dining every year though. Two years ago we had originally booked a standard room at port orleans riverside. However, when free dining came out, the only rooms available were the royal rooms. We didn't really want to pay that much for the room, but decided to go ahead and do it since we really wanted to try the resort. We are glad we did, but I could have used that extra money on souvenirs :)

Not only does Disney only release a set amount of rooms at each resort for free dining, they may only release specific booking categories at each resort (some may only have preferred rooms available for free dining, or only water views, etc). They use free dining to fill rooms that aren't booking up to their expectations. So, in theory by booking early it could hurt the chances that free dining is even offered for a specific resort or booking category.

I hope that makes sense. In short, yes, your TA can rebook you under free dining if rooms are available :)

Thanks so much for the info:)

Hi All. We are in. 10/14-10/21 DDP + 5 day Base tickets.
DH has been many times as a child but my daughter and I are both first timers.
Right now we are booked at AOA but we may switch to POP once discounts come out as our TA said that AOA hasn't been included in discounts in the past.

We are also waiting for the MNSSHP schedule to come out to see if we can fit it in during our trip. If so it'll be on our day off from the parks, or arrival day.
:dance3: Gotta start planning the costumes

Well, we are completely booked for our little Halloween getaway! :cool1:
Husband had wayyyy too many AA miles, so he gave me free use ;), booked Poly and airfare, first class! :lmao:
All seriousness, we don't usually fly, we enjoy roadtrips, so haven't used his miles from his business card, so he had a ton to use. We also were not aware we could use them for hotels, so when I played around and found Disney resorts, you bet I was booking one of the monorail resorts!
After debating between Poly and CR, I decided I wanted to see the Poly after the refurb. AA had the Poly for less miles too, so I did it!
After the points I'll have banked over the next 10 months on my Disney Visa, I may have an almost free getaway. :thumbsup2
Makes me feel less guilty since we were just there first week of Dec. :bitelip:

Joining this Thread... We're taking the kids and Grandma on their first trip to Disneyworld. Currently booked Beach Club for 10/2 - 10/10, but our dates are flexible depending on what discounts are offered. We're all super excited and can't wait!! :cool1::woohoo:

Might change our resort to a 1 bedroom villa for more space. The kids will be 2 and 4.

Is anyone updating this?
Add me Oct 18-23rd * AKV Kidani * Avic77

I am... sorry for the disappearance. My family deals with a lot of health issues and we had a rough bout. Your dates have been added!

As far as I can tell, I've gotten everyone's info updated. Please let me know if I missed anyone so I can add you.

We finally nailed our dates down! We also added a few family members to our trip so we decided to get a 3 bedroom condo offsite. It's my first time offsite so I'm a little nervous about that...but our dates are Oct 17-24 and I can't wait for my first MNSSHP :). We will also be driving this time. I love a good road trip!

Gotcha fixed up! We've stayed offsite before, but it was always with family. How cool you are bringing extended family! We have a few times. This Oct will include my parents, too. Fun stuff!

Hey so I have completely changed my son and I are now booked at pop October 17-25 instead of halloween! It is his fall break and we are able to take a longer trip!!!!

Big changes, but your trip is now sooner AND you get to stay longer! Woohoo! We are going over my kids' fall break as well... I hope to spend every last day at Disney!!

Am I the only one who is really anxious for the park hours to be released and the schedule of events to be posted?
This will be my first trip. DH has gone many times as a child with his family- but this will also be our DD5 first time.
We actually just watched a Disney Parks Movie from amazon last night because we are THAT excited.
