Well, thanks to this thread, I just realized and booked F! package at Mama Melrose's for Wed the 26th! So now we will have Thursday to go wherever we want to! Woo Hoo! we were undecided as to doing a second day in Epcot vs HS! Now getting F! in on Wed allows us to get that in and have an open day! Yay!

Received some more Mickey Mail as well today. Yesterday we received our DME for our room only (arrival date). Today we received our DME for our package (departure date). The only thing missing at this point is receiving our luggage tags, vouchers, etc...

We only received yellow stickers to attach to our bags - I think this means we are using the DME. We did not received Disney luggage tags yet, I guess we will get these seperately. I think we are supposed to receive vouchers for arcade card, planet hollywood voucher, etc....Maybe I am wrong, but I was under the impression that these would come with the luggage tags.

Right, you get one packet with the Magical Express booklet and yellow sticker-tags for your luggage so they know which resort to deliver your bags to and then you get a second, separate packet with ID type luggage tags and the other vouchers (arcade, Planet Hollywood, etc.).

Habsfan/Dazieduck, thanks. I hear everyone talk about the yellow mickey tags and thought the sticker ones I got w/ DME were it. I figured I would get the other package with the vouchers but didn't know I would get name tags as well. YIPPY!!

Something else to look forward to. It's appraching fast and I keep saying I need to get on the ball and start getting my stuff together.

We have come up with how we are going to surprise the kids finally!

Brent is still going to get up and get ready and go to "work". He's going to run whatever last minute errands and whatever while I get the kids ready for school. The older 2 have to be dropped off at 7:25, the younger at 8:15. I'm going to tell them that it's just my day off and that's why I'm not getting ready.

I will tell the older 2 that they have dentist appointments and I'm going to pick them up. When I go to get them Brent will get Ellie. He is going to get home with her first(the school is right across the street) and have her hang out in her room while waiting for us.

When we walk in the door he is going to have Ellie come out. We are going to tell them that we have something serious to talk to them about and to sit on the couch and we will be right back. Backstory: Brent is a huge BS-er with the kids. Half the time they think he is full of it. While they are at school we will load the car and put their back packs with all the stuff we have collected for them in a laundry basket covered up with a sheet in the living room. I am going to get the video camera ready(hidden) and he is going to come out with a sign behind his back and then hold it up that says "We are going to Disneyworld today!" and then rip the sheet off the back packs! I don't know if they will think he is even serious right away but I bet they will freak out when they realize we are serious!

I can't wait!!!

Yep! For a whopping whole 2 hours for the bigger 2 and 1 hour for the little one It gives us time to load up the car and finish up last minute things before we bring them home to surprise them. Brent is even going to "work" in the morning to throw them off. In reality he is going to make the last minute grocery store and Walmart run and come home after they are gone to school.

I am just so thrilled about our upcoming trip - everything is pretty much done now but the packing...got our ME tags and our package 2 weeks ago...the Disney stickers are counting down the days on our calendar and I just have to confirm our grocery order delivery and pre-order Photopass.

I cannot WAIT for this highly anticipated Disney Family Vacation!!

That's so awesome! You're under 2 weeks!!! We are all getting so close!!! I realized how close it was when I told DH to be on the lookout in the Val-Paks for a coupon for the airport parking lots. I was like, OMG - we're looking for parking coupons!! We're THAT close!!!
