This thread is for the all the October disers
So post your dates, hotel, ADRs and plans and together we can all plan and maybe schedule a dismeet

Were going October 21- 27 and staying at the Dolphin
Here are the ADRS I have so far
22- Crystal Palace 1 pm
23- Rainforest Animal Kingdom 4 pm Only problem is the parades at 3:45 and we want to either watch or be in it. Also theres EMH that night there 5-8 and I don't want to waste any of it at rain forest
24- Nothing yet maybe capemay for bfast
25- Sci Fi at 5:05 but we went there before so maybe 50s instead if I can get it
26- Going to try to get Chef Mickeys for Brunch at 10

Here are our plans for now
21- Arrive at around 3:30 subway in room for dinner Epcot untill 9 not staying for EMH. Illuminations in France eating crepes
22- AM EMH at Magic Kingdom leave at 6:30 boat to wilderness lodge and watch wishes while on boat wonder around get pics by geyser then boat to Ft. Wilderness for Chip n dale sing along at 7:30 boat to wilderness lodge then boat to contemporary then mono to Poly or GF for EWP then mono back to Magic for bus to hotel
23- Rope from @ HS leave at 11:30 lunch at Peeacbos
Im taking the kids to the movies with my friend and her kids so i'll post more later but post your stuff

We are going Oct. 25-28th for my DH's 40th Birthday!!

I have my AD Res. done and some general planning.

I just can't wait.

We will be there oct 1st to oct 9th. Staying at ASMo resort. I have all our ressies done, Crystal Palace, Tusker House, Scifi theater, Planet Hollywood, Arkershus Norway, CRT and Chef Mickey.

We are going October 17-24th. This will be our first trip. I am overwhelmed by all of the info I have been reading. I have tons of questions but can't think of any of them at the moment .

Hi! We are going ( DH<DD, DGD and me) for DH's60th birthday. Staying at ASMu suite. 22nd to 29th. Planned some ADR so far. 27th is DGD's 6th birthday and we will be at CM for dinner and then MNNSHP afterwards.
( already got tickets in the mail) Its our first party and I am so excited. Can only share this with DISers right now because it is a surprise!

Concerned because I have not booked airfare yet, ( keep thinking that I will miss a great bargain. I know I better move on this now. Does Air Tran still takes the bags right from the hotel when leaving the resort? I know southwest does not do this.

I posted this on the Theme Park board, but thought I'd put it here in the October thread too. I just wanted to mention to anyone there October 2, there will be a ticker tape parade at MK welcoming back Buzz Lightyear from his space station mission

Knowing Disney's events, I bet it will be quite a parade.

Per local news the info is:

Buzz Lightyear Returning Home From Infinity And Beyond!

Buzz Lightyear is now the longest serving 'astronaut' in space ever, and will be treated as a hero upon his return.

A ticker tape parade is scheduled for Oct. 2 at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom to celebrate Buzz Lightyear's homecoming.

The homecoming will also coincide with the re-release of Toy Story 1 and 2.

Astronaut Buzz Aldrin, his namesake, is scheduled to be there for a book signing, along with astronauts who flew and worked on the ISS.

Disney said they will be partnering with NASA on a Buzz Lightyear Mission Patch Design contest for students after the parade.

The winning patch will be used on a future shuttle mission.

Oct. 14-21, our second Halloween. Spooooooooky!

i love dw this time of year. The kids are all dressed up and ready to throw down. The fantasy of it all is apparent everytime you step out the door. Everybody is pumped for fun.

I am kind of bummed about Space Mountain, but we will survive.
