Thank you all for your kind words. I'm pretty positive that we will be rescheduling and going the beginning of May. It will actually be DH's and my 10 year anniversary and we got married at the Yacht Club so it will be nice to go back to see the gazebo and show the kids Now off to countdown to 180 days for ADR's and 60 days for fastpass! Whew! I'm starting all over again! so weird.... But I want what's best for the family, and while we are all bummed (DD cried tonight when I told her we would have to wait for our trip), I know that it would just be too much and too tiring to go now. I hope all you November goers have a ton of fun! I will miss chatting on this thread!

I am so sorry you have to delay your trip and I hope your DD feels better really soon! My parents went to The Flower and Garden Festival this year and loved it! You should check out some of the pictures on the DIS from this year's festival to get you excited about your new trip!

I am so sorry to hear this but it looks like you have a bright side to it all. My son wasn't feeling well the first few days of our trip one year and it was miserable (our first morning woke to go to the parks and he ended up with a stomach bug that morning). he was miserable and kept wanting to do stuff but then we could hardly get him out of the room and when we did he was not happy. He was only 3 at the time so at least he was small enough that once he was feeling better he would go out in the stroller but still napped a lot.
I wish you the best with your new planning and wish for a speedy and health recovery for your daughter. Take care!

I rescheduled our trip for May 2-9th (and already made a new ticker ) I've been to the flower and garden festival and it's so lovely, so I can't wait to see that again. I'm going to be cancelling a ton of dining for the 3rd through the 10th (breakfasts at CRT, Crystal Palace, Ohana, and Tusker house, dinner at Be our Guest, Sci Fi, and Chef Mickey's, and a few others). Ironically I can make my May dining reservations this Thursday which is the day we were supposed to leave. So a sad day turns into a happy one

DD is doing pretty well. Her fever is down today which is good. She wants to rest all day so that maybe she can walk our very short street for trick or treating. She wants to wear her costume so badly! we'll see.

Changed my Tony's dinner ADR to Skipper's Canteen today.

I don't think that restaurant existed when we went last year. Glad I read about it on here. Sounds perfect for us.

Did you guys see the changes to LTT lunch? They removed a lot of the a la carte options and are pushing the AYCTE platter instead We're not really interested in the platters so I'm not sure if we'll be keeping our ressie. Wish I could get a lunch at CRT instead!

We're trying to decide the same. My husband and I are both vegetarians, and now it looks like there are no entree options for us at all. We'd be using a table service credit to just get salad and macaroni and cheese. That's a terrible waste.

I think we might go get the veggie chili at CHH as a quick-service, and then just go sit in LTT with our families while they eat. I know it will be a waste of a seat for Disney since we won't order anything, but I don't feel too bad since they're changing the menu last minute on people. Maybe we'll get the toffee cake for dessert though. DOes anyone know if we can just use a snack credit for dessert?
