***Official November 2016 Thread***

I know searching for flights is what I imagine playing the stock market would be :rotfl2:

Coming in late Tuesday the 22nd...

We were doing the same thing...but we gave in and extended our trip through till 11/28 and ended up getting pretty decently priced flights home. SWA irritates me when they don't open everything. People have trips to plan!!
Yay for paying everything off, we still have to get tickets and pay for the DDP...tickets we will buy in September and then DDP probably the beginning of November. It's nice that everything can be extended and not have to pay it all at the same time :)

Yes thank goodness now I have to work on paying for our March trip :upsidedow

Anyone else traveling with a toddler? My daughter will be almost three when we go - I'm excited and terrified at the same time :P Taking her last year was...a challenge to put it mildly, but I really think she'll have fun this time!

We are also going in November. We always do. This year, Nov. 3 - one night at POFQ, next day a quick 3 day cruise on the Dream, then back on November 7 to POR until Nov. 13.
We love going in November, since we go without kids. the weather is always so good. I hope I am not jinxing this now, LOL And we always celebrate our anniversary

Oh boy, I would be a little scared too. We took our twins when they were 5 for the first time. It was right for us. Sadly, they never liked going to Disney when they were kids. Now, as adults, they like it, go figure

I KNOW. I honestly can't believe we're going again, after how rough last year was. But, I kind of want this to be our "do-over" - I think we're smarter and wiser this time! Plus now my daughter actually knows Mickey Mouse and is starting to get into Princess stuff, so I think she'll have a lot more fun. I would never take her this young if we didn't know that we would come back when she's older (her grandparents are taking her, plus hubby and I, when she's five).

We were there last year from Nov. 12-18 and the weather was great! A bit too hot for my tastes, but absolutely no rain and sunny skies!

exactly, November weather has always been great for us. January, not so much.

You'll be just fine. I wish you a fantastic time :)

Our son will have just turned 3 when we go.

I'm slightly worried too, but hey as mothers that's our job lol.

What we've decided to do is just focus on stuff he likes, which mainly running and exploring new places.

So this visit there probably be fewer rides and more running around the world show case. As fingers crossed that'll knacker him out, although it will probably just end up knackering us out when he'll wanna keep on going lol

Happy to find this thread! Our third trip to WDW will be Nov. 4-12. Staying offsite at Grande Villas Resort. Just hit our double digits this past week too! ADRs are pretty much settled and now just waiting for our FP window to open! I'm traveling with my DH and two daughters.

ETA: We will be attending MVMCP for the first time this year! Going Nov 11 (our last night) so hoping to end the trip with a bang!

We are taking my 9 y/o niece and 4 y/o nephew on our Sept. trip. (I know, I know, this is the Nov. thread). It will be our first time traveling with children as my DW and I do not have any of our own. We are excited to see their faces when we arrive. It will be a lot of firsts for them.. First time flying, to WDW, to Florida, etc.. It will also be the first time for my DBiL will have visited WDW. This all falls on my DW and I's 7th wedding anniversary. Should be entertaining. We have built in "resort" time daily for naps, pool time, etc.. My DW and I have told my DS and DBiL that we'll take the kids back to the resort a couple of times so that they can have some park time to themselves.

going 11/1- 11/5, staying at AS Sports but thinking about upgrading to AKL. But the cost is significant.

Our first trip was a couple of weeks before our youngest DD turned 3. We had a wonderful time (thanks to my obsessive planning)! And if she gets cranky at times, just remind yourself how much money you're saving by taking her while she's still free! :D

I can't even imagine what the cost would be lol, but we stayed at AKL for the first time in January and fell in love. It's gorgeous and worth the extra $$$!

Please share what you've learned! We are taking a 4 year old and a 2 year old and it's the 2 year old I'm more worried about!

I know you weren't asking me, but I would definitely rent a double stroller if you're not driving and taking your own. We used Kingdom Strollers for both of our previous trips and we were very happy with their strollers and service! It was less expensive than the single strollers they have for rent in the parks and a lot more comfortable for the kids. Take plenty of snacks and things to keep the kids occupied while waiting in line. Use rider swap when one or both kids can't or won't ride something. Most people recommend taking breaks each afternoon for naps and/or swimming at the resort. My kids were never good nappers, but we always plan one or two non-park days to recharge.

Have a wonderful trip!

I will take all advice! We are planning on bringing a double stroller for sure! I was also planning on taking breaks back at the hotel, at least the first few days to see how napping in the stroller does or doesn't go. The little one definitely still needs a nap, but is the one that will more likely sleep in the stroller. My goals are basically to keep the kids fed, rested and happy, like I said, if that means cutting out early to rest at the hotel, so be it!
Thanks for the tips! Even though we will have our hands full with 2 young ones, I know they are going to have such a fun time!
