Yup, I watched. Boring. And, I've never understood how anyone can bed hop like they do. Just seems bizarre to me.

I'm at WDW and missed the show. Can someone provide a link to a good recap?

Did anyone watch last night?

The first part was so boring. The whole Nick and Shaun hate each other has been done to death. It's not even interesting to hear them argue.

Agreed. So boring.
"All right boys. We're going to film you so no getting physical, try not to cuss, okay go."
:sad2:

Some thoughts.
Kaitlyn: "He's definitely husband material."
As soon as that came out of her mouth (either during or just after their date) I knew Ben was gone.
That rose ceremony was completely anti-climactic.
(OMG!!! Maybe that's why she gave him the boot! They just talked all night! No... uh... "intimacy". So it was an anti-climatic night for her too!)

Did anyone else burst out laughing when she said something like "Spending the night together is a really big deal for me."

What should have happened after that...
Ben "It is?"
Kaitlyn "Sure! I don't do this lightly. I've only done it once so far on this season and I'll be doing it two more times a little later this week."
Ben "I think I'm going to be sick."

Let's see... what else.
Oh. I hardly thought it would be possible for me to actually like Shawn less than Nick. But surprise!
Still, I'll feel bad for the guy when she finally dumps him for Nick.
(Prediction, not spoiler.)

I rarely post on this thread, but I always keep up with it. That being said, I just have to ask opinions. What is up with this season, as far as the dates being ridiculous & low budget, the traveling is basically nonexistent, the doing away with the hometown dates, and so on? Is ABC running out of money, lol, is the viewership down drastically, or did the producers realize they make a huge mistake right in the beginning with their stupid premise of two girls, neither who were good choices to be the bachelorette? I'm baffled. Aside from almost every moment focusing on Kaitlyn & her men making out like they were in 7th grade, and the blatant sleeping around, this is truly the most boring season I've ever watched. If this is their new format, I have to say I'm out, and I think a lot of people are going with me.

Hmmm, I feel like Shawn is definately winning. I kind of feel bad for Nick and his family. You can tell by his family he took it pretty bad last time, and will again this time.

I missed seeing the top four in their hometown dates. I love to see the family dynamics. I guess since it seems to be the Nick and Shaun show this season, the producers figured, why bother?

I don't know. Nick's family seemed more down to earth.

I kind of feel that Shawn's three sisters kind of run the show in that family, especially when it comes to Shawn. There was something stiff and uptight about his family. I thought it might send Kaitlyn Nick's way.

That's because you have a moral compass that they are lacking. ;)

I read the recap. So, Nick didn't get a Fantasy Suite date?

Yes, he did. It was last week. This is their screwed up new format. They had the rose ceremony midway through last weeks episode, then went to the Nick overnight. Then, the "fight" between Nick and Shawn, which is where they picked up last night.

I'll be glad when this season is DONE. It's really dull.

I do think the producers were "forced" to switch it up this season by two things...one, she told Shawn early on that "he was the one." And, then she slept with Nick. Bam. It quickly became the Nick and Shawn show. So, why go through what would clearly be a charade with hometowns. Heck, I found her decision to do an overnight with Ben offensive. LOL.

I agree with the comments about this season being boring.

I missed the traditional hometown dates--those were my favorite episodes.

Was anyone else laughing when Nick's family was sitting around sobbing before meeting Kaitlin? Or am I just heartless?

Does anyone know if they will be visiting Kaitlin's family in Canada?

No, they will not. Her family will come to the "final" destination as has traditionally been the case (last season with boring bachelor farmer was an exception to that rule).

That's right...thanks for reminding me. I was just remembering last season when all the girls went to the farm.

The thing that got me in this weeks episode was Kaitlin being all concerned about Shawn being "Eskimo brothers" (ew) with some country singer...and that Kaitlin was specifically concerned about Shawn being a "player." So much so that she awkwardly brought it up on their fantasy suite date. Really, Kaitlin? As the girl who told Chris Soules on the first night that he could "plow her fields"...I find it interesting that she would be concerned about what anyone did in their "romantic" life.

No kidding. Let's see, she bedded Nick, then Ben, then Shawn on three consecutive nights and she's going to lecture Shawn about sleeping with the same woman someone else did on the same night? LOL. I guess on that theory Shawn, Nick and Ben are all Eskimo brothers.
