Official Meet Thread 2/7/14 Disney Magic!!!!!!!!

Hi Everyone!!! So excited this thread is finally here! I asked to join the Facebook group as well! My name is Cindy and this will be our 4th Disney Cruise (and 5th because we are doing a back to back and reboarding on the 10th!!!). We have a large group on the first leg of our journey.
Our 6th floor crew consists of:
Me (Cindy), my DH Bill, DS Hunter (age 12) and DS Brayden (age 9)
My mom Debbie, step-dad Jim and nephew Matt (age 15)
My friends Kari and Jerry and their DD Madison (age 11) and DS Kalen (age 9)
My friend Brandy, her DS JAC (age 6) and niece Kalani (age 16)
My friend Rose and her grandson Maquire (age 6)

Our 8th floor crew is:
My friend Kari's mom Olga and dad Joe and their grand daughters Shannon, Jessica and Mackenzie (all under age 11).

We can't wait!!!

Hi Cindy and family and friends!!! We are joining you - we, too, are doing a B@B on the Magic. Our B2B begins on 2/3/14. We are also doing a B2B on the Wonder - 1/24/14 and 1/29/14! And... we are cruising on the Fantasy on 11/1/14.

For this cruise, it'll be just DH (Dave) and I. I first sailed the Magic in July of 1999 and am so looking forward to getting back on board in 8 months.

Cindy, do you have the link for the FB page? I will try searching for it.

Cindy, I haven't seen a FB page either. From what other DIS meet threads do is that when someone from the meet creates a FB page, then that link is posted on the DIS meet thread. I am not savvy enough to create a FB page.

I have been on 18 DCL cruises; DH Dave has been on 15 (I did three girls' only cruises). Having DVC points helps a lot! Able to bring on family and friends with the help of DVC. And, we have used points to cruise, although that seems to be a popular topic of discussion on the boards.

We were supposed to be on the Vancouver-LA repo and the PC cruises this fall but had to cancel. We had DVC points to use so we booked the B2B Wonder cruises for January 2014. We decided to join our daughter and family for the 2/3/14 Magic and add on 3 days (had to use cash for this 3 day). Once we get off the Magic, we are heading to Hilton Head and staying at the DVC resort for 2 nights, then we head to Morgantown, WV to spend time with 2 of our 6 grandkids and their parents.

Will all members in your group be doing the B2B? What fun for all of you!

I just semi-retired as of 6/28/13. I agreed to work 2 5 hour days each week and work from home a few hours each week.

I believe it's fixed now. At one point, I wasn't able to access the group, so I thought it was closed.
