Question of the Day:

What is your favorite activity to do outside the parks during the day?

Ex: I LOVE renting boats at the Poly and POR

DTD
Boardwalk in the evening
Relaxing by the pool in the afternoon
Outlet Malls

Question of the Day:
Do you have something that you get everytime you go to WDW?
For example: I get a Disney Pin!

Never been to WDW, but been to Disneyland too many times to count. Going to answer this with that, and I figure my souvenir choices will be pretty similar at the world.

We always get:

A new pin
One new ornament a year (at least...I always try to buy more)
Something to display in my house, either a nice piece of art or new picture frame
A Churro!! Yum!!

I like to just people watch at the resort pool - while reading/napping LOL .. But we also like to shop in DTD

who will be down during the week of the 14th?

We will be there the 14th to the 19th at AKL! Cant wait!!!!

:cool1:

Question of the Day:

What is your favorite activity to do outside the parks during the day?

Does napping count? But in all seriousness, probably swimming or laying out to tan. We also had a really good time at Disney Quest on our last trip, so we're going to go back this trip. :goodvibes

Hmmm...outside of the parks?

We like to hit the outlet malls and tour other resorts. Of course, the kids love pool time!

Question of the Day:

Ex: I LOVE renting boats at the Poly and POR

SHOPPING!!

If we had a car we'd go to the Millenia Mall but now we're going to have to make do with just going to Florida Mall and Target/Walmart

Since we don't live in the States, shopping is even more exciting while in Florida!

What is your favorite activity to do outside the parks during the day?

Visit GKTW - DD12 was a wish kid in 2006, and we love all love to go back for a visit :goodvibes

Play at Winter Summerland :santa:

Boat from POR to DTD :thumbsup2

Visit the other resorts :lovestruc

What are you celebrating?
There are no special events happening, but I guess my BFF and I are celebrating friendship and our common love for Disney. I did turn 30 this year, so we may celebrate that. I wanted to make this year special.

Are you a pin collector?
I do have a lot of pins. I bought a lot in the past. I don't buy as many now but it is a fun hobby.

What is your first full day plan?
MK with an ADR at CRT. We also plan on staying for the EMH. We may go to the room for awhile before dinner at CRT.

What is your favorite place in WDW to have breakfast?
I've only tried the Cape May Cafe breakfast. I liked it a lot, so I guess Cape May Cafe.

In order, what are you favorite parks to see? (1 being your favorite, 4 being the last one you will visit)
1. MK
2. HS
3. Epcot
4. AK

What is the first ride/attraction you will go to in Epcot?
I am not going to Epcot this year, but I will say Test Track as it is my fav ride there.

What is you favorite viewing place for the following WDW events?:
1. Illuminations - I don't remember ever seeing Illuminations.
2. Wishes - from the Ferry lol (we use this time to get out of the park before there's a stampede of people)
3. Dream Come True Parade - I like being close to the entrance of the park.

What resort did you pick and why?
We picked All Star Movies. We stayed at All Star Music last year and liked it a lot. We love the value resorts. They are inexpensive with many of the same perks. We wanted movies to be a bit different from last year. Next year we are shooting for the Animation hotel or the Polynesian, if we can afford it.

What is your #1 tip for first-time visitors?
Take your time, plan to stay a few days and don't try and see everything at once. Pace yourself. Also, invest in some good athletic shoes and buy them a couple months before to break them in. Your feet will kill you by the end of the trip if you don't do that. Also don't worry so much about park hopping as it can get more exhausting for you. Disney World will always be there.

Will you drive, fly or take the train to WDW?
I fly because I live 2,000 miles away from Orlando.

Do you have something that you get everytime you go to WDW?
For example: I get a Disney Pin!

A pin or two, maybe a collectable cup and a stuffed animal.

What is your favorite activity to do outside the parks during the day?

Ex: I LOVE renting boats at the Poly and POR

Explore the resort, maybe hit DTD for shopping.

I'm not sure that I ever did these?!? Oh well, no time like the present!

What are you celebrating?
My sweet little boy will turn 3 two short weeks after our trip. Also, we leave a few days after the beginning of my third trimester. :scared1:

Are you a pin collector?
Not yet but I got a few of the vinylmation pins with the gift cards from Sam's and I bought Logan a lanyard so we can start :)

What is your first full day plan?
First FULL day is MK. Have a 9am appt for DH and DS at the Pirate's League, eat breakfast at the MS Bakery, Lunch at Tony's, dinner at Liberty Tree and the possibly the wishes dessert party that night. (Haven't decided which MK to do it yet)

What is your favorite place in WDW to have breakfast?
We've never eaten Breakfast at the World, but since we're doing DXDDP this time we will more than make up for that.

In order, what are you favorite parks to see? (1 being your favorite, 4 being the last one you will visit)
1. MK - it's just.... MAGIC!
2. DHS - I love RnR and ToT but have to sit out on both this time. :headache:
3. Epcot - I think it's interesting but it kinda bores me..
4. AK - I don't usually give this more than a day's thought.

What is the first ride/attraction you will go to in Epcot?
Soarin'. We missed it last time and as long as my big ol baby belly straps in the seat, I'm going!

What is you favorite viewing place for the following WDW events?:
1. Illuminations - Never watched it... This time though..
2. Wishes - I've only seen it from the CG observation deck..
3. Dream Come True Parade - Wherever we fit in last minute.. I'm not one to sit and wait for parades.. That's prime ride time!

What resort did you pick and why?
VWL for the majority of the trip - I wanted to be close to MK. A boatride away is magic to me.
AKV-Kidani - I'm really excited to stay here but I didn't want to be so far from the action for the whole trip.

What is your #1 tip for first-time visitors?
1.Have a plan of what you want to see. There's so much it's easy to miss the big things if you don't know what you're looking for.
2. Appreciate the theming, if you've ever been to six flags you have to notice how meticulous Disney is in everything they do. Down to every single detail.

Will you drive, fly or take the train to WDW?
Fly. Texas is toooooo far! That's wasted park time!

Do you have something that you get everytime you go to WDW?
For example: I get a Disney Pin!
Picture frames. I have a bunch from last time I haven't even used...

What is your favorite activity to do outside the parks during the day?

Ex: I LOVE renting boats at the Poly and POR

I'm really excited to do the pony rides and chip and dale sing a long at FW. ;)

I wish every time I made a post it would take a day off my wait time! i would just sit here and post. It's been way to long since we have been, we are so looking forward to this trip.

:surfweb: :hourglass:

I never did the questions!

What are you Celebrating?
Nothing in particular, but this is the first trip that I'm taking with my boyfriend. My life would be complete if he proposed in front of the castle, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up...

Are you a pin collector? Yes! Started collecting a few years ago, it is SO addicting!

What is your first full day plan?
We will check into POFQ and head to EPCOT first because we have ADRs for a late lunch at Le Cellier, then off to MK for EMH

What is your favorite place in WDW to have breakfast?
Chef Mickeys! BF put his foot down and said no character meals because he is convinced we would be the only people there without kids (this is basically his first trip down, he doesn't get it lol)

In order, what are you favorite parks to see?
MK, EPCOT, DHS, AK

What is the first ride/attraction you will go to in Epcot?
Soarin! (especially since it looks like TT will be closed)

What is you favorite viewing place for the following WDW events?:
1. Illuminations 2. Wishes 3. Dream Come True Parade
I don't really have any places picked out.

What Resort did you pick and why?
We initially planned to stay at Pop because I like it best of the values and we are aiming to making this a cost effective trip, but BF was able to get us a CM discount because Disney is a client of his, so he decided we should splurge and go with a Moderate, and he chose POFQ because I LOVE New Orleans.

What is your #1 Tip for 1st time visitors?
Don't get overwhelmed, take some extra time for a first trip so you have the time to relax in between.

Will you drive/fly or take the train to WDW?
This trip is a weird one because we are flying down to West Palm Beach to my grandmother, and we will pick up her car to drive it back up to Jersey for her while she flies home for the summer. Best part is she is paying for our flights and the gas back up. Woo hoo for saving money!

oooh I love surveys :rotfl:

What are you celebrating?
Being Alive!!

Are you a pin collector?
No, I just found out about it.

What is your first full day plan?
Epcot. Princesses are priority. My daughter and I have a late breakfast res at Akershus, but I am hoping something will open up around 8:15 so we can trade for that. That evening the kids will go to Neverland club and my husband an I will do date night at Epcot. yay

What is your favorite place in WDW to have breakfast?
We've never eaten Breakfast at the World, but since we're doing DXDDP this time we will more than make up for that. <---Ditto to whoever said this. Same here.

I'm not going this May, I'm going May 2013, but I really wanted to answer the questions anyway haha so here goes!

What are you Celebrating?
We will be celebrating my 19th birthday, and our 5th visit to Florida!

Are you a pin collector?
The second time we went, me and Mum were obsessed with pins. We have loads! Past 2 times we've been we have only brought one pin - the one with the year on it. Have done some trading in the past, but won't be spending a lot of money on pins next year.
