****Official May 2012 Thread**** ALMOST TIME TO LEAVE!!

It's $23.99 for adults & $11.99 for kids I think. Kinda expensive just for desserts but you get a great view (supposedly!) I'm excited to try it out :)

Thanks for the info. That does seem high for desserts, but It is Disney and I bet the desserts are fabulous:goodvibes Perhaps next time I will try and make ressie's:)

It is.. my problem is that DH is a super picky eater. Out of desserts he'll eat only yellow cake (no frosting) or only vanilla ice cream so it looks like we're paying $23.99 so he can eat some vanilla ice cream :scared1: It better be the BEST vanilla ice cream he's ever had. lol..

Since booking last week, I do nothing but think about this trip ALL.THE.TIME. The baby's 1st birthday party and baptism are next weekend and I have done nothing. :lmao: Good thing we are having the birthday at a restaurant so all I really have to do/get are the favors...which if anyone has any ideas I'd be happy to hear them. :)

I'm trying to decide which character breakfasts to do. Suggestions? DD4 is really into the princesses. The baby is pretty clueless at the moment. :rotfl:

Also, DBF is only doing this trip for us, but I'd like to do something special for him. Any ideas what I can do? I don't think he gets how immersed we are going to be. :rotfl2:

I am finally getting around to making our countdown this weekend. 50 days for us!

I think I am almost done shopping. I just cannot wait!! :cool1:

Welcome to the club of the Disney Obsessed!:thumbsup2 LOL. I am the same way - always planning or at leas working on my pre trip report b/c it helps to pass the time.

My dh is doing the exotic car experience - that's an idea for DBF but it's a pricey one. Not sure what your budget is but for less than the car one you could plan a behind the scenes tour - if he likes places around the worl they have one at epcot where they get to use the seguays (sp) which would be VERY cool.
Good Luck in whatever you choose for him and I hope he catches the bug as badly as you have it :thumbsup2

47 days to go
and I bought some new runners finally! YAY!!!
I know - not all that exciting really but i've needed a new pair for running the Expedition Everest 5K challenge b/c my old running shoes are 2 - 3 years old now :scared1: and I knew I'd need time to get them worn in b/c it's NOT a good idea to run a race in brand new shoes so it's a releif to FINALLY have this taken care of.
Next is swimsuite which is ALWAYS a nightmare UGH!!! :sad2:

Oh well, If you'd like to see them (mine aren't all that exciting but DD14's are pretty darn cool i must say!) then have a look at my pre trip report at this link.

It's on page 9. oh and please say hello. (is there a begging character?? lol)

:thumbsup2Totally Agree on the Segways at Epcot! Great, Great fun! My dh and ds did it 8 years ago, and then 2 years ago, I did it. They teach you a quick lesson and then you guide your segways over the walkway to the countries. Totally the best thing we've ever done!
And y'all are right! This thread does help just reading and chiming in, to help pass the days away! Come on Disney!:banana::banana:

:cool1: Welcome!! We are also staying at Pop! We are going 4/29-5/9!! Maybe we will see you!

Terri

It would be great to meet. I will be the one pushing a stroller in front of a 4yo dragging her daddy. :lmao:

I was looking at the driving experience but it's WAY out of my budget. :rotfl: I'm going to take a look at the segway tour. He enjoys Epcot the most. Thanks for the idea.

I don't know what your budget is but we did a Wishes Cruise for my DH's birthday a few years ago. He's not as big on Disney as I am but he thoroughly enjoyed it. The cost can be offset by finding another family to split the cruise with if it's out of your price range.

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one obsessing! We booked a Royal Room at POR and after seeing the pics and video, I am even more excited!

we booked a character breakfast at Tusker House. It seems to get good reviews. i let my DD pick which one we are going to do and she liked the characters at Tusker House the most. Plus we can snag a Fast Pass for Safari before we eat.:goodvibes

I'm glad I'm not the only one with Disney on the brain. My family is hiring me to make t-shirts, so I'm using that as an excuse to look at Disney pictures and threads all day. :rotfl:

We are booked for May 14- May 25...12 days of Disney Bliss (and a little Universal and LL) at Bonnet Creek!:dance3:

I was beginning to think that nobody was going in may! Everyone seems to be going later on in the year...
Heehee dang I though I was gonna have Disney all to my self

:rotfl2::thumbsup2 great excuse!! I don't ever have one - i just sneak off and turn the laptop on. i think I'm not obvious about how much time i'm on here but I know it's obvious anyway. LOL Good thing DH appreciates how well i plan it all out so he lets it slide.

:woohoo: May's an hour closer then it was yesterday :woohoo:

wow - one good thing about the time change!! But it makes no difference to me - we don't do time change - i actually didn't even realize it was today until i got on facebook and saw a few ppl post somethings related to it.
