Awesome calendar!

We are going simpler ... just numbers 30 to 1 on a piece of paper in boxes and we'll put a disney sticker on each number (my girls love stickers) for each day.

So I picked out our clothes for the trip (girls full outfits and tops for me and DH), chose which day we will wear them and put a day's worth of clothes in a large ziploc bag.

I do this too! I just love packing everything they need in one ziplock bag, so all they have to do is pull it out and get dressed. Makes me feel more organized and it eliminates the need for me to dig through their bags to find what they need each morning! Glad to hear that I'm not the only person who does this!

And thanks for the compliment on my calendar!

I do this too. It saves so much space in the bags when the clothes are in the ziplocks and it makes it so much easier for my kids to get ready. Glad to see I'm not the only obsessive about these things...lol

Can't believe we only have 25 days left! We told our kids when we had 77 days to go (on Valentine's Day) and have a countdown chain and it's gone by SOOO fast! Hopefully the next few weeks will go just as fast!!!!

We looked into doing Mickey's Grand Welcome last summer, but since we were traveling with 3 kids, it would have cost us over 1000.00 to do it for all of them.

So, I decided to order some personalized towels, ears, shirts, Disney silly bands, plush Mickey's, ect. from the Disney Store and then I made some signs, blew up some balloons, put some decorations in the window and made cute little tags (like the ones that Mickey's Grand Welcome uses). For all three kids, it cost less than 150.00 and the kids loved it. Here's a few pics of what we did:

Very cute!! I wish I had the time to create stuff..but unfortunately, home renovations are taking all of our extra time. Besides, since it's her first trip we decided to splurge

Thank you! If we had only be traveling with DD, I probably would have splurged as well. But, since DH's little sister (who is the same age as DD) and our nephew were there, we just couldn't afford to do it for all three of them.

I hope you guys have a wonderful time on your first trip!

We check into the Pop on the 11th and I go onto the Disney site every day so Donald Duck can tell me how many days till my vacation... This is a special trip this time just myself, mom and DS4. And the best news ever my very best friend was just hired as a CM!!!!!! So we will get to spend maybe a little more time together
