** Official Lotusphere 2007 DIS Meet Thread **

How many DISers are going to Lotusphere this year?

I'm being forced to go. I really hate traveling on business, and am not really sure what this year's Lotusphere has to offer me, since I don't work with Lotus Notes or Domino any longer. I'm basically planning on taking in all the Websphere, Portal and Workplace-related seminars, and that's it.

Anyway, does anyone want to set up a meet at Lotusphere?

DH and I are both attending. Sadly, we are also no longer doing Domino/Lotus work. My request justification pushed ideas such as IBM Workplace Forms, Business Development Day activities, networking and "observing presentation styles and tools in technical demonstrations." Heh, heh -- it worked.

Well it sounds like it has been confirmed that the Wednesday night party is at AK! Excellent!

Maybe that's the best place to meet up! Keep an eye out for lime green ribbons.

Oh, man, I'm jealous! My first ever WDW trip was when I tagged along w/ DH on his trip down for Lotusphere. Man, that is one nice conference! The party was at MGM that time and it was awesome.

He doesn't do Lotus anymore, so we're heading down in March so he can go to DevConnections. Not nearly as fun - they're not even on sight
