**** official june 2015 thread! **** come check in!

I just have to say...I love Disneyland. We saw the Clapping Man! In the morning first thing on Autopia. So excited. He's an 84 yr old Chinese man who goes to DL every single morning first thing for about 2 hours and he has this special handshake he does with every cast member. He was in line right in front of us at Autopia. It totally made my day.

I didn't realize this was something special. My mom and I were in line inside Indy and he came through clapping and everybody started doing it with him. It was fun!

This morning we did MM and arrived just before 7am. We were able to get in fairly quick and headed straight to Mattethorn. It was great, a bit bumpy, and the effects for the yeti were amazing and quite scary. My four year old liked it, but didn't want to go again (we had a rider swap pass). By the time we were done riding and took a few pictures the line was already wrapped around the mountain. Definitely go to this first thing if you don't want a long wait. We also rode Buzz and Alice while there for MM.

After this we headed to adventure land for Indy FP, but the ride was down. So, we headed to tarzans tree house. Indy was finally up and going with only a ten minute wait. My dh and mom went stand by while I pulled FP for it. We also got a rider swap for it too. This is my moms fav, so we need plenty of rides on it. We headed to splash and Winnie the Pooh. My four yr old was too short last year and they gave us a pass to use as a FP when he is tall enough. We planned to use it, but it was only a 5 min wait so we will save it for another time this trip. My youngest did Winnie the Pooh a couple times with grandma and once with everyone else. By then our fast passes were up and we headed back to Indy for my mom and I to use. This is when we saw Clapping Man.

We then headed over to DCA to check out maters and bugs land. We pulled some FP for RS at about 11:20am with a 7:30-8:30pm return time.

We got some lunch at Cocos, which was delicious and cheap! My mom said her coconut cream pie was the best she has ever had. The strawberry cheese was also delicious! Tonight we plan to see the Pixar parade, Aladdin, ride RS, and do as much of DCA as we can before we call it a day.

The weather has been crazy up in L.A. This week so far. Hoping it stays below 80 for Friday. I'm a heat wimp. I did my time... Three years in north Texas.

I'm so jealous of all of you who are there or have gone already! We still have 2+ weeks. So glad to read the up to the minute reports though, it's really helping with our plan of attack.

We ran into repeated HM problems yesterday and the one time we could ride it, the hat box ghost's head wasn't transferring to the hat box. Huge bummer!

We headed to DCA at about 4:45pm. We decided to skip the Pixar parade and instead headed to TSMM since the line was only 25 min. That was so fun. Then we headed to the last show of Aladdin at 6:20pm. I'm so glad that I finally saw this. We sat on the floor in the second section to the back on the left side. This was a decent spot and there was only one short section of the show that was difficult to see.

Afterwards, my four year old braved ToT for the first time. Again, just a 25 min wait. He didn't cry, but said he didn't want to do it again.

Our FP for RSR were up and so we headed to cars land. It was about dusk and the lights weren't on yet so I asked a CM when they do the lighting. She told me dusk was at 8:01, and the lighting is about 2 minutes after it. This meant we arrived just in time! The lighting was very cute and we were glad we caught it. RSR was so fun at night with all the lights on. Between FP and rider swap we were able to do a lot of rides.

Planned a spur of the moment trip for the end of the month, the weekend of the 26th! I am soooo excited! I am a deluxe AP holder and have never been in the summer as I like to avoid crowds, but I can't wait any longer to see the 60th anniversary stuff. Like I say though, any day at Disneyland is better than anywhere else, so embrace the crowds I will!

Me too!!!

Today is a grad day and so far things have gone really well. We started at just after 8:15am in DL and my dh went to Space Mountain to get FP while we headed to BTMRR. Nobody was there and we walked into frontier land by ourselves. We rode BTMRR twice in a row without any wait. Then we headed to Splash and walked on three times in a row. Then headed over for our Space Mountain ride. I haven't ridden this in about 5-6 yrs so it was a lot of fun!

Tomorrow land was extremely busy and we decided to skip meeting Capt America/Thor because I did not want to wait 40min! Instead we headed to Jedi Training which started in ten minutes. We found a spot and my 4 yr old was the last to be chosen! Such a fun experience for him. We then headed to Autopia, which was only about a 20-25 min wait.

Then it was time for some lunch. We headed to DTD via the monorail and requested the nose of it, which I highly recommend. I had signed my mom, dh, and I up for the Earl of Sandwich email club last Friday and we had received our free sandwich offer. We all used these emails to each get a free sandwich. The worker said it would also work for a free wrap or salad as well. We just had to do each person on a separate bill. So, the only cost was the kids sandwich, which cost about $4. They were delicious hot sandwiches and if I were paying, the price is really decent - only about $7/sandwich.

Then we headed to DCA to do grizzly Rapids and the redwood challenge trail. We got FP at around 1:20pm that had a return time of 2:05. This way we were able to run around the challenge trail instead of waiting in the 40 min stand by line. I love the challenge trail and that my kids can just run around semi freely.

Tonight we plan to ride Soarin' and Possibly California Screamin'. Then do whatever else has shorter lines. As far as grad nights go, the morning was like any other morning, but tomorrow
Land really started getting packed with grad groups. It wasn't unbearable though. We will see how this evening goes.

Great to read all the current June people are having a great time.

9 days to go for us, just got some more US dollars. Your money is weird and looks the same hahaha.

We will be there June 28th! Our last time there was in June 2011 and Carsland was being built! Can't wait to see it and all of DL! If we didn't live in AK, we would go more often. Our oldest is paying for this trip. I usually do all the planning (getting us there and hotel) but she is doing it all.

Tonight was a pretty easy going night. We had pulled FP for Soarin at about 2:50pm before taking a mid day break. We needed to return between 4:55-5:55pm. We got to DCA at about 5:20pm and were able to watch the Pixar parade as it went by. Then we did rider switch for Soarin. Can I just say (again) I love redwood creek challenge trail! Such a great place for little ones to run around and be free while some of our group went on Soarin. The screen looked great, but something wasn't working with the right side of the hang glider chairs. They didn't load them and we had to wait forever in the hallway before loading. I loved the smells, but it seemed that I was able to smell them early/late compared to the scene. Not a huge deal to me though.

Afterwards, we walked on to Little Mermaid. We then called it a night and headed to Olive Farden for dinner. This evening was getting a bit more crowded due to the grads. The trail from Soarin to grizzly river run an was quite crowded though.

Tomorrow is our last day and hopefully we will be able to get all of our priority rides done. It may be a long day.

Today has been pretty busy with crowds, especially DL. We started our last day in DCA. We arrived at about 8:15pm and headed straight to TSMM. The wait was only 10 min. Afterwards, my dh and I headed to Cal. Screamin while grandma and the boys did TSMM again. I then went to get FP for RSR just before 9am and had a return time of 1:00-2:00pm.

While I was gone they rode the Ferris wheel on a non-swinging cage. This is not a ride I like so I wasn't disappointed to miss it. We then headed to Goofys Sky School where my dh and 4 year old walked on twice in a row. This was my sons first time and he loved it. While they rode that me and my 1.5yr old walked on to ride the Zepher ride. Then, I walked on Goofy (again!) with my 4yr old. He loved this ride!

We headed to Monsters Inc and then hopped to DL at just after 10am to go meet Capt America and Thor. By the time we got there, the crowds were heavy and the line was 40 min long. My mom kindly waited in the line while we rode Buzz. The sign said 10 min, but it was more like 25 min. Then we got in line with Gma and had fun meeting the avengers! They got to help hold Thor's hammer and touch Captains shield. Great fun!

Then we headed to Bengal BBQ for skewers and then to Cafe Orleans to get my dh some more Monte Cristo and gumbo. Afterwards I finally got myself a beignet!!! Very delicious and I covered myself in powdered sugar.

My mom was kind enough to watch my youngest while he slept in the stroller while my dh, 4yr old and I rode the Columbia. This was fun to explore below deck.

Our FP were up for RSR so we decided to head there. We got rider swap and were able to ride twice in a row in about 35 min. Then back to DL to ride the railroad and get the silhouettes of the boys cut out. This was so neat to watch and I couldn't believe how fast Bonnie cut them out.

Then we watched the tiki room show while eating some Mickey bars. The last thing on our list was to go watch Disney Jr Livefor the 4:15 show. We were in the from on the far side into the room. This is not a very good view at all, so try to find something in the middle section at least a few rows back to see the puppets.

Then we headed back to the hotel. We called Pizza Press on the way and ordered two pizzas for dinner. They only had 12in pizzas. The cheese was $8 and the supreme was $10. Pretty good deal and the taste was good too. The best part was that it was ready in 10-15 min for my dh to go pick up. It is right next to Camelot so we brought it to the room to eat. It was enough to feed the five of us, but not stuff us to the gills.

Now we wait to head back tonight and I plan to see the 11pm PTN with my mom. We don't want to deal with the crazy crowds from the earlier one though.

Oh and if anyone saw a woman trip and sprawl just inside DL at the round about around 10:15am today, that would have been me. I'm fine, but it was pretty embarrassing and I have the street cars a good laugh I'm sure.

We fly out in just under 10 hours! I need to get into bed! Too excited to sleep!

I tripped on the curb in front of the castle on my way to PP one Magic Morning my last visit. I was taking a picture of the castle and just didn't see it. It was embarrassing, but I hopped up pretty quickly. "Nothing to see here, people!"

Saw the 11pm PTN parade last night. It was just two of us and were able to find a great spot about 20 min before it started between Alice and small world. I'm so glad I got to see it! My other goal tonight was to get a 60th anniversary ornament. Apparently, every store is sold out Of them, except for the shoe one, so I'll need to wait until sometime this summer to order Them online. This trip was great! We did and saw everything we wanted over the four days. The best times were in the mornings and getting there at rope drop was the best thing to do since we got so much done in the first 2-3 hours. Hope everyone has a great June trip too!

After reading all the great June reports it's sounding like the 11pm Paint the night parade is the one to go for.
