Ok please tell me Im not the only one here. I feel a little depressed that our vacation is so soon...that means that this time next month we will be leaving the world. No more planning, no more looking forward to things, just depression and culture shock of coming back. Sigh. I guess theyre right, some of us are just never happy lol.

We feel the same way but like others have said the best remedy is to start planning the next one

To keep us distracted, I have a question. Have they gotten new resort mugs yet or are they still the same as last year/earlier this year?

Me too Carrie! And I try to shrug it off and concentrate on the fun that's ahead!

For me, I always know that I will enjoy reliving my trip through all the pictures that I take! That really seems to help after the trip.

And since there is absolutely ZERO chance of another trip until at least October 2013 at the very earliest, if then, I can't even begin to plan another trip even in my head!

I did a little bit of research (to keep my mind off my lack of MM ) and it looks like the mugs are still the same beach scene as last year. That's what they were when I was there back in April and it hasnt hanged. People are reporting the same thing still. Looks like the colors right now are pink, teal and black. Bummer....I was hoping for a new design for the mugs we'll get this trip.

Does anybody know if they change the menus ever at the resort quick service places? Specifically value resorts. I just wondered if there would be anything new or different at Pop Century this year since we were there this time last year.

We are staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek and renting a car this time. Last year are years before MM came at like 32 days before arrival date. ME comes with MM altogether. I have read a lot posts of folks not getting there MM in a timly manner, I would call NOW.. Have a great trip.

I've called twice and they kinda gave me the run-around. I was also told that the ME is shipped seperatly from the other mickey mail...I'm getting a bit frustraited, this is so not like Disney. I was excited to check my mail, hoping it would be there, now I just get angry every day it's not... grrrrrr.

I think they have made some changes because I have always had to order extra tags when they changed it to 1 tag per person and have had plenty to time 2 get the extra tags as well. Good luck

Good morning all!

Tomorrow is my first time to do online check-in! We opted not to do this last December and did fine with getting our original requests at the Poly. I figure that this will maybe save some time but if I don't like my room location I can try to change it.

I put in my Amazon Prime orders last night for a new Frogg Togg towel and another camera memory card as well as some t-shirts from LL Bean on sale. Shorts are going to be my real problem though since my weight fluctuates so widely from summer to summer so I guess I'll try to hit some sales this weekend. I love wearing capri pants but they will probably be too hot. Anybody have input on that?

But I fell asleep still trying to decide which carry-on for my 17" laptop and camera gear to bring. Usually I bring my big backpack but I'm trying to go lighter this time and stuff 80% of my camera gear in my new fanny pack and shove the laptop and other "can't live without" stuff in a smaller pack. I have a slightly too small roll-around backpack which would be perfect but I have to really work too hard to get the laptop in!

DH would kill me if I bought yet another bag or pack!!! But a roll-around or pull /push backpack seems ideal. I could take the laptop out at the resort when I get there and ask them to put it in the safe and check the bag itself in storage. I really do not want to wear any pack in the heat etc. even for a short time around the resort.

Tomorrow is my online check-in day. This will be the first time I have done that since we opted not to do it last December and take our chances with our requests (which worked out fine!).

I'm not very particular this time; I'll see what I get when I arrive and see if it looks good for me as a 'solo' and maybe I'll get a quiet room, close to the buses and food court. If it isn't I'll just ask to have another room.

Spent some time last night getting my camera gear organized; still haven't figured out what carry-on bag I will use.........Those of us who lug a laptop and cameras always end up with this dilemma!

Placed my order for a new Frogg Tog towel (or whatever it's called, I haven't had enough coffee yet) and another memory card for my dSLR as well as for a couple more t-shirts last night but shorts are always a problem since my weight fluctuates so much . Hopefully I can hit some sales this weekend.

I won't be able to check in on-line, because my reservation is not available on the website. It's fine, though, because they would charge the remaining balance to my card and I don't want to pay that until I check in, I'm hoping my in-laws insist on helping pay for it, though it's not a big deal, if they'll help pay for some other stuff, since they are staying at our house and not having to pay for a hotel.

Oh, I have to find my Frogg Togg towel, I know it's in my bedroom somewhere. I'm not sure if I will take my camera this time or not, since DH will take his and my MIL has a really nice DSLR that I'm sure she will take.

I wear capris, because my legs are too fat and ugly to wear shorts. I might wear shorts under my swimsuit cover up when we go to BB, but nowhere else. I wear the knit ones from Catherines, and they aren't hot to me. I do have a denim pair that I will probably only wear for my birthday dinner.

I refuse to drag my laptop, it's just too heavy and won't fit in the safe and I won't have time to use it anyway. I'm afraid of something happening to it, I waited and hunted for it for a while before I bought it, because it has a blu-ray player. I hardly ever download my pictures any way. I'll take my iPad so I can watch movies in the van and if DH wants to use it to entertain himself in the room, but we aren't in the room much.

I don't want to even take a bag to the park everyday, but we will take our small cooler, so I will stick necessities in the front pocket, hopefully so I don't have to deal with a bag.

I need to find one of those disposable, waterproof cameras to take to BB, do they still make those?

I recieved 2 ME tags (the yellow ones) per person, so that's nice because we are going to check a stroller and a few other items that I usually would carry-on.

we got ours and only had 1 tag per person for the ME for Disneyworld but had 2 each for the ME for the cruise. Now I'm anxiously awaiting my other 2 tags and we leave on the 2nd( I was told 5 business days so, we should have it soon )
