Finally Double digit day!!!!!!

Today marks 100 days!! I am so very excited that when I wake up tomorrow, it will be in double-digits!! Hooray!!

Im so excited for everyone! Ours days already seem closer. Im waiting anxiously until I get to my double digits too.

Are you guys going to also try and sport the lime green mickey heads as DISers? Im going to. It might be a great way for us to all connect.

I am driving DH crazy! I keep changing our park days, ADR's..... I just can't decide. We are skipping Fantasmic this year, and I had us going to DHS on a F! day. Decided to chance it and switch our DHs and AK days, hope I am doing the right thing. Changed from WCC to Akershus dinner, which is locking us into going to Epcot on an EMH night, but let's hope it works out. DD 3 is obsessed with princesses, and we have a 1900 PF dinner, but adding this one so she can see her Belle again. I really do love character meals, saves soooo much time in line. I was hoping for a different Epcot ADR dinner, but of course Le Cell is gone, Teppan Edo didn't have anything until later, or a lot earlier, so we'll see. Wanted Chefs de France, b/c DD10 is really wanting France, but the food doesn't get great reviews, ugh. Decisions, decisions...

I agree with not going to DHS on a day when they are showing Fantasmic. We made that mistake last year. It was really crowded. We ended up going back another day, and it was much better. This year we will be going when they are not going to show Fant. I hope they don't changed the schedule. I too, am going to EPCOT on an EMH evening. I really think this park is big enough to handle the crowds. Get FP early and save them. We haven't seen Illuminations yet. We are hoping this trip!! We've never eaten at Ahershus, but have heard good things.

We did Akershus breakfast last year, dinner will be interesting. We have to skip Illuminations for a few years. Last year, we found out my Daddy had cancer almost 2 months before we left. For whatever reason, Illuminations really upset my then 9 year old, ran to me crying that she was scared for Poppie, with whom she had a VERY close relationship. She called him sobbing and talked for the rest of the show, just telling him she was scared, and that she loved him. It was the first time she'd admitted any fear. Devastatingly, we lost Daddy on Sept. 19, from complications from his surgery. Our daughter has asked not to have to ever see Illuminations again. Hopefully, we can either linger in Akershus until it is over, or be done and riding maelstrom or over in FW before they start.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. This must have been very traumatic for your daughter. There are so many things you can do to distract her during that time. Maybe a nice ride on Soarin, Nemo, or Living with the Land.

I am getting so excited but nervous too. We have never gone in June, don't know what to expect. Plus, my Dad's one request - Fantasmic. Right now they only have one show scheduled on two of the nights we are staying. I really hope they add more shows.

This will be our first trip as DVC members, we had originally booked POP and called DVC to ask about being members and taking the money we spent for the POP room and 2 nights at Vero beach as down payment! Guess What! We are now DVC members and still going on our Vacation! Yay!

BUMP! Only three months left!

For the PP who asked about Ft. Wilderness cabins---I stayed there on my only other trip to WDW in 1986, when I was 13. They were basically single wide mobile homes with maid service. There were five of us and we had plenty of room. I enjoyed it. The only bedroom had a double bed & bunk beds. There was a Murphy bed in the living room and I guess someone could sleep on the couch if they needed to.

Count us in too! My sons and I will be there from 6/17 - 6/27 and we are so excited! We'll be celebrating my youngest's 14th birthday, and we'll be visiting the water parks for the first time. We'll be staying at one of our favorite resorts, POFQ. See y'all there!

We're going June 18-25. Except we are staying off property this time. We're staying at Celebration World Resort. I've never stayed there. I hope I won't be disappointed. My family of 5 & my BIL & family (5) are going together. My MIL gave us a week at the resort. Yeah! Free lodging. Can't really complain. I haven't bought our tickets yet. I'm kinda wondering if I should wait and get them when we get there. We live in FL, but I haven't found a real good deal yet. Any ideas? Will it matter if we purchase them early? We want to get 6 days with park hopper.
