Hey!! Thanks for remembering and asking. He has been given a "last day" of on or about August 12. Also heard that there is potential for a nice bonus if they bring a certain amount of money into the hospital so that would be nice. When we get back from vaca, he'll start looking for other jobs.

Ok, so all of you early July people have to promise us late July people something. When you come back from your trip and you're bummed about being back home and we're saying "Yippie! My DD16 is in her 3rd year of German and likely going to Germany next summer. I'm hoping she'll actually take the opportunity to speak in German to some of the CMs.

That's amazing! I teach high school Italian & Spanish, and it is a wonderful opportunity for your daughter to go to Germany and be immersed in the culture! I'm sure she speaks German well, but she will come home speaking even better just from being around it all the time!

When we go to Epcot, I love to speak Spanish to the CMs in Mexico, and Italian to the CMs in Italy. On our trip 2 years ago, I was actually talking to a CM in the Italy pavilion (inside a store) who was from the same region of Italy my family came from! Granted, I was talking to all different CMs in Italy, and I did mention where my family came from, so they directed me to that particular CM in that store. But it was truly a magical moment! My boys also like to hear me speak Italian! They know a few phrases but not much. DH doesn't speak Italian, but I would like to teach my kids!

John actually decided he did not want to cut his time at Disney short (which is actually a little shocking) so I think we are going to shift our trip. It will still be 2 weeks, but do the 27th - July 10th instead. of July 1-14 which is our current plan. I don't want to mess with our hotels we already have in place, so that means we will move resorts twice (another thing I am shocked that John agreed to). I sent Debbie a message last night to add the 4 nights at the front at one of the All Stars or Pop. Today is my deadline. Ashley will miss her other trip but be back for the filming.

I go to bed thinking about our trip, I wake up thinking about our trip, and my boss has the NERVE to expect me to think about my job instead of my vacation while at my desk!!!

It's been SOooooo long since we have been there, that I'm not even worried anymore about he lines, heat, crowds, etc. If all we can do is be in the parks looking around hearing the background music It will have been a success!

I did decide to download ridemax, not sure yet if I like it. I may just make up different plans for each day (EMH days, mornings only days then afternoon only days, each day at a different park etc) to have with me and we can pick and choose what we want to do. It's very overwhelming when you just start out.

If you hit EMH at the water parks I think you can get a lot done in the first hour. Just make sure you go on the most popular stuff first. When I did it a few years ago with the kids, we were back at Pop in time to still have breakfast (about 10:30am) and then I did laundry before going to the park for the rest of that day.



Good luck on your test! You will be leaving before you know it. We may be moving our trip up by a few days so my ticker is about to decrease rapidly and I am so not ready!

I will have a bright blue bagallinie bag and will be with my DH and two DD"S they are 16 and 10 I will look for your green mickeys I will have a button that says anniversary on it as well. after the trip I will try to figure out how to post a pic of myself. I cant wait until we are at disney I cant wait to see Mickey I am a huge Mickey fan he is my fav.

We got all of ours about 4 weeks out. First we got the ME docs, then we got the luggage tags and other stuff for our package.


Well, more changes may be ahead! I'm going to ask DH what he thinks about relaxing at the Poly for the morning of the 4th and then heading into Epcot after lunch. We'll see what he says to that plan!

Great! We will also have an anniversary buttons on! It's not really until the 18th but we went for our honeymoon last year so this year is sort of an anniversary trip!

Well, the ridemax download didn't last long!!! I just emailed them to get my refund. I know me tooooo well, I don't like schedules while at WDW. Now, having said that I may come back from the world saying I WILL NEVER AGAIN WING IT, but I just can't imagine trying to stick with the plans. If I pass a ride or shop that I want to spend time in, than that's what I want to do.

The most I want to do is know which park I will be in that day. We don't even have any ADR's made (taboo around here I know). DH said he only really wants to try California Grill, and I can't even make myself put it on the schedule!! How the heck do you hit the parks all day in the heat, and take the time to get back to your room, shower, dress again and go to a nice restaurant, then go back and change again to hit the park again???

If this weren't a surprise trip for DD than she could help me with the plans. But we will let her decide when we get there where she wants to go.

I made the mistake of buying Ridemax way before the July schedule came out. I bought the 3-month membership, in April. I should have waited until June because I am not liking it. Sometimes it tells me I have too many things planned, then I take just one thing away, and it will tell me I have too few. I know it's a lot more research and "work" for some, but I much prefer Tour Guide Mike. I can purchase it any time I want, and it is good up until 60 days after my trip. Lots of articles to read through, but they are all very informative, I only have to read the articles that apply to me, and they explain why it is best to do certain things at certain times. Very easy to make an itinerary out of this. From what I can see, TGM is good for the Uber-planner like myself, who is interested in learning more about WDW (like a Disney education...lol, they should have a degree for this stuff! ), and Ridemax is great for someone who is planning an itinerary last-minute and just wants someone else to do it for them. But I am pastmy 30 days, oh well. You live and learn I guess. TGM for me from now on!

We are going July 1st thru 5th and staying at the Contemporary. We decided not to go to any parks on the 4th but are staying at the Hotel and going on a Bass Fishing Excursion, having some lunch and maybe renting a couple of the little speed boats. We reserved one of those cabana things from 3pm - 7pm by the pool and just plan on relaxing. Looking forward to watching the fireworks from our room! We haven't been for several years so I have been having Disney withdrawals! My DS 7 and DS 5 are sssssoooo excited that they are tall enough to ride on most of the rides. They keep checking the height requirements to make sure they don't change!!!

I missed a day (maybe it was two) and I had to read four pages??? WOW!

Graduation was last night;

School: I have two exams to give on Monday; and I have about 25% more packing and moving to move back to my remodeled classroom. Last teacher day is Wed (half day). Then, I can focus on Daily Disney obsessing (even more than I do currently!)

29 more days for us!!! DH said he thinks he has 18 more days. (I love that he is counting down too. Of course, his is more about just being on vacation!)
