Hello! Is anyone planning a trip in January 2024? Would love to start a thread here as it looks like there isn't one yet.
Family of 3 here going Jan 14 - 27 with 8 day park tickets (non hoppers).

• The Skyliner gondolas line between Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation, and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort will be closed.
• The Skyliner gondolas line between Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be closed.

January 16-27, 2024

• The Skyliner gondolas line between Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort, and the International Gateway at EPCOT will be closed.

Hi there! Nice to meet you! How far along are you in the planning process? This is my daughter's 2nd trip, she was 6 last time but now she's almost 14 so its like it's all new LOL.

We are planning a trip Jan 1-6 (or maybe arriving 12/31- 1-5?). We have been multiple times when our kids were younger, but not in several years.
Hoping it wont be too crazy, but it’s the only time all our schedules lined up. It will be Dh and I, our three adult sons, our dil, teen daughter and the grand baby!! So very excited!

We're Jan 27-Feb 5! 4 families (my fam, parents, siblings and their families) for a total of 17. Most haven't been to WDW, but we grew up near DL, so this is a dream come true!

6 non-hopper park days. We're renting DVC points at Beach Club for 2 nights and Poly for 5 nights.

Nice to meet you! We are deep in the research stage. Our daughter will be a few weeks short of 3 when we go so I totally understand a trip being all new! We are going from adult only trips to having a toddler in tow and it is a bit overwhelming, especially since so much has changed since our last trip right before the pandemic.

We go almost every year, but things are rapidly changing, our oldest DD will be starting college next week, so this could be our last trip for a long time. She will only be on vacation with us the first week and the second week my parents will come. This will definitely be a different. I can't wait to hear about everyone's plans! The anticipation of going is almost as exciting as being there.

How busy do you think the Parks are going to be? I just realized we are flying in on President's day weekend (I'm Canadian so didn't realize) but we're not planning to go to the parks until Tuesday, Jan 16th and hoping crowds will disburse by then?

You'll be there right after Martin Luther King Jr weekend and I'm hoping the crowds will be gone as we are going the same time.

You'll be there right after Martin Luther King Jr weekend and I'm hoping the crowds will be gone as we are going the same time.

We are planning to skip the parks the first day unless that's an extended evening hour, then we plan to sleep in and go later in the day (stacking lighting lanes in the afternoon and going after lunch to the park that has extended hours). It's usually Epcot on a Monday I believe.

This will also be our first trip on property during a holiday so I have no idea how to handle it, but we'll be staying at BRV so hopefully we can pop over and back to MK and not make it too stressful during the actual holiday days. I'm going to try to catch both special fireworks and excited to get back on Guardians, but at the end of the week when the horrible holiday overlay ends.

We love GOTG, but the holiday overlay was MEH.

Yes, I believe they are changing things after January 9th or so I thought I had read. Maybe it was just the need for park passes? I've been out of touch for a bit as we were away so I might be mistaken.
