My plans keep changing, which is no surprise at all. I'm always changing something. One of my coworkers is most likely tagging along. It started out as a joke at first, but I thought it would be really fun to bond with a friend.

That's cool! You can make some really special connections with people you'd never expect when going on a trip like that. Especially when being spontaneous!

We had a great day at MK yesterday. Cool in the morning but very nice and warm during the day. Jeans and a tee shirt warm. But as soon as that sun goes down it gets chilly. We had dinner at CRT last night for the first time and it was great. Our DD4 loved it. Wait times were pretty much all over the place. Saw Its a small world with a line out the entrance and down to the stroller parking by the rapunzel bathrooms!! But there were tons of FP's left after we used our first 3. We ended up with 7 yesterday. Space/BTMRR still available at 5.

Off to AK in a little bit. So many of you are so close to arriving!!!

Thank you so very much! It's going to be a really special trip! It'll be different because I'm not exactly sure how she tours Disney World, but we'll make it work and have lots and lots of fun! I pretty much planned on just riding rides and shopping so this will be a whole new experience! I'll have to learn to be more spontaneous.

Thank you! I may do a dining report for this trip. I just started a ( my very first ) TR on our Thanksgiving trip but I haven't even finished our first day lol! They take a lot more time than I thought! I'll definitely be back here though. Your trip will be here before you know it!!

Offically at the 1 week mark! So hard not to tell DS! My DH and I have now had to talk in code so we dont ruin the surprise~

Just back from our week long stay. Stayed one night at the Poly. Wasn't bothered at all by the construction. Our room actually overlooked the work being done but we couldn't hear anything. The weather was all over the place. Gloves and coats one day and then shorts and t shirts another. It definitely got cold at night and in the early morning. The Star Wars launch bay was a bit disappointing. Really nothing but statues and costumes, but meeting Chewie was fantastic. The Star Wars fireworks were the best I have ever seen in my whole life. Almost brought me to tears. The wait times were def longer than expected. I think the new Fp inflates times on the rides that wouldn't normally be that long. They definitely were doable though. The longest line we saw was 70 min for the SDMT. The parks seemed pretty empty thought and that was really enjoyable. We were able to get on everything we wanted except Peter Pan cuz no one wanted to wait an hour. BOG was amazing, food was delicious and it is breathtakingly beautiful. We had a wonderful time and cant wait to go back when the new Star Wars land opens

I agree they are amazing! We're not into Star Wars at all but it doesn't matter: we could watch these every night!
DH and I did the new Club Villain at HS Saturday which was opening night. Hands down best special event we've ever done here Every part of it was fantastic. I wrote a bit about it on the TPAS forum on a thread titled "Club Villain" if you're interested and HopperFan posted a link to a great review. My plan is to do a quick TR on it when we got home Wed., too

Oh man, guys. I'm freaking out. I was supposed to leave Friday evening for our Disney trip and now there's supposed to be a huge snowstorm! I'm freaking out while waiting for more news. And the flight Thursday night is super expensive! I guess this was always the risk in planning for January, but we've had such mild weather so far this winter. Sorry for the debbie downer moment, but I need my Disney!
