Official I booked Minnie's Holiday and Dine Thread - Only post when you book

Just cancelled:

Minnie's Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine Dinner Fantasmic!

Date: Tuesday, December 29, 2015
Time: 5:30 PM
Guests: 2 Adults, 1 Child
Location: Hollywood & Vine - Echo Lake - Disney's Hollywood Studios®

Now I feel better about double dipping! Sounds like everyone has the same plan to see the lights between dinner and Fantasmic.

I am curious to find out how early we would need to get to F! for the seating. I want to stay and watch the lights for as long as I can and my girls love the "snow" even though we get plenty of it during the winter.

Was only *kind of* interested in this b/c of the characters in holiday attire. We haven't seen that in quite a few years! Decided around 3:30 to see what was out there and booked for Thanksgiving 7:15 :) DS13 could care less but DS9 says he thinks it's cool!

For everyone who is saying it's only a $2.00 difference between booking with or without Fantasmic it is a $6.00 + tax difference for adults & $4.00 for children.

Cost is $46.99 for adults, $27.99 for children or counts as one table-service entitlement on the Disney Dining Plan. Fantasmic! dining is also available with Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine and is $52.99 for adults and $31.99 for children (plus tax and gratuity).

If you are on the dining plan it doesn't matter since they are both 1 TS but if paying OOP it will add up. They would not accept TIW discount for Jedi Mickey. People reported that they did give the Disney Visa Discount.

Glad to see we're not the only ones double dipping. We're doing breakfast and dinner on Dec. 19. Hitting EMH early to ride Rock'n'Roller, breakfast with Sofia and Doc, hit the shows and fast passes, then dinner with Minnie, Osborne Lights, and Fantasmic! :) Yayayayay!

I ended up switching our 12:10 lunch to a 10:10 breakfast. I was worried that the menu would be too similar with lunch and dinner and normally after a buffet I'm not hungry for a while. Still double dipping, but now doing breakfast and dinner like you!

After the most epic WDW trip just over a month ago, I've been taking a break from the Dis to recoup and digest all that happened. I totally missed all the anticipation and excitement for this meal, but I'm certainly glad I decided to see what's been happening on the forums today. Even though I can't go, I booked a package for my parents as a Christmas gift!

We booked without fantasmic for Dec 7th. I would prefer a fantasmic.... but when I finally got availability it was on my app. I'm not positive we will keep it. We also do have a breakfast which my kids are super excited about.

We are on the dining plan, but 5 adults and a child costs $34 extra, which will bump the tip up. We don't plan on doing fantastic ( after 15 + trips we feel the hassle isn't really worth it), so I called and took it off. If it wouldn't had been available I would have left it.

Not sure who gave it up but I was just able to grab a 5 pm on November 7th without Fantasmic. If I could find one for the day that was impossible to get when the reservations went live, I'm sure there's still hope for the other days.

:yay: I never thought I would be joining this thread! Woot! 11/7 4:50 pm

I have the Merry and Bright Dessert Party booked after. Going to be a food coma day, for sure!
