The two mazes that got me pumped are Run and Pitch Black. Run will be a first of its kind maze. Basicaly it will be a maze that paradies American Gladiators on steroids. You will be encouraged to RUN as fast as you can through this maze while boobby traps are set to seperate you from your party so you are all alone. I will never be the same maze twice because the sliding fences will be moving side to side to force you in new directions. Not to mention their will be a guy only scaractor cast that are big, tough as nails, and are heavily padded, that will do their best to push you and chase you off path. This maze will be the Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome of maze's with two men entering and one man will leave. Pitch Black I think will be stationed in the middle of new your where the Fear House was last year. It will be a sort of touch tunnel maze where there is absolutily no light. This maze in total darkness will have walls with diffrent textures, and floors with differ textures, bouncy, skwoshy, gravel like, wet, etc. The Superstition maze will basicaly be the Classic Horror Monster Maze, and the Terrorland Maze will be a Disney Dark Ride gone wrong. Expect alot of Disney Jokes like Ax welding Mad Hatters, and Chucky like small world dolls. The Mummy Maze will kind of be like the one that was here two years ago. The other cool things is the Blood Bath of red soap sudds that will take place under Kong's Broklin Bridge. And there will be a Movie screne maybe in the beetle juice theater that will show horror movie clips from all of those famous scary slasher movies. Not to mention that crappy Jaked Up show will be replaced with a magic show that will hopfuluy offer some David Copperfiel like illusions and some gross out pinn and teller comidy/magic. Also I hope those dark robe guys are back you pick out people in the crowd to torture come back. Not to mention we still have no idea what the scaracter zones will be.

Any idea if any of the regular rides will be haunted like last year?? Will King Kong still have a maze in it?

Jim

The maze "run" sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen.

And whats with the theme this year? In the art promos i see "I.C.U.". What is that supposed to mean? The name of the new clown isnt I.C.U, so whats that supposed to mean? If it means "I see you", then why is it made to look like an abbriviation for something? And if the clowns are back, then why is it called "no more clowning around?"

"Jack's Back" would have been a fine theme.

Gotta love Universal marketing, these are the same people that came up with the "Squared" billboards (which caused people to think they are building another hulk and spiderman) and the "Last Gasp" theme for HHN 99 which made everyone think it was the last year of HHN.

Cant wait to see the Bloodbath club!:)

Pitch Black will actually be located in Soundstage 22 this year. I believe (not sure) that the Mummy will be next to Earthquake. I know for a fact that Run is- as I'm going to be in it.
As for the Kong- it is going to be the Blood Bath foam bar and party. Not a walk-through maze, per se- but lots of lighting and pounding music.

FYI, ICU is a medical term for Intensive Care Unit which is where patients are kept for observation after they are involved in an accident with severe trauma.

It looks like another must attend year.

Phil

Hey Chris Mcfly,

Universal does have some good billboards also. How can you hate the Trex 3D billboard that is on I-4 West Bound when you first enter the city comming from Datona. It shows Trex's claw breaking through the Electric fence that really lights up and has sparks flying every where. Not to mention the famous ET come fly with me bilboard has been a hit for years. Plus there is the T2 head that greats people on I4 east bound that has eyes that light up. And dont forget the bilboard that puts a tear to any comic fans eyes in that awsome 3D Spiderman billboard on I4 West bound once you leave the park. And finally try to name another park that will give a teaser billboard. Remember last year in september before it was official to the public universal had bilboards with Jack-n-the-box's not openend yet with the catch fraze "not afraid of the dark"? I cant wait to see if they but up a teaser bilboard of Clown Eyes for I.C.U. this year. Even though Universal has made mistakes in there past with some head scratching advertiseing, they still have made some of the best bilboards in Orlando.

Other famous Orlando Bilboards. The Dummy of the cop holding the radar gun on a billboard. The Fantasmic Mickey looking at ever changing Villians on that billboard in fron of downtown Disney exit. The Austin Powers Virgin Airlines Billboard. The Nike Billboard that showed Penny Hardaway and Lil Penny on a roller coaster with the catch fraze "Wellcome to Penny World". The Mickey Mouse clock that tells time on a billboard with a big Mickey Hand and a small mickey hand. And finally the bilboard in front of MGM studios that shows the Twilight Zones Elevator going out of controll.

Whoah, I never said I didnt like universal's billboards. I think they are kick-***. Don't forget, a long long time ago, the Earthquake billboard with the huge train and shooting sparks?

All i meant was that some things do indeed confuse people more than anything else (Spidey 2)

The theme/title of this year's HHN is: I.C.U.

Yes, it stands for Intensive Care Unit - but it also refers to the phrase "I See You"

This refers to Eddie, who you all will very much want to meet come October.

You see, Eddie is Jack's younger brother, and is quite upset over what we did to Jack last year.

Similar (great) billboard campaign as last year. If you remember, the billboards around Orlando started in early September with nothing but a closed jack in the box. Each week the billboards were changed to reveal more!

What exactly did we do to Jack last year that he is so upset about? I mean, we gave him his own show! What's to be upset about?
