count me in as a fan too! I have watched forever! My mom watched and of course you know how that goes!
But I must say lately I have been letting my VCR slip a little...the story lines are just plain stupid right now!
I can't stand this new Dinah and posing as Princess Cassy? Please! How do people not know? I like her with Edmond but think it is just too far fetched! I just keep waiting for Cassey to wake up from the car accident and realize it was all a dream! HAHAHA

I have a hard time watching GL lately; for the last couple of years actually. I think because I *hate* all the screen time Danny, Tony, Eden (before she *died*) et al receive. I would MUCH rather see any of the following get a good story line:
BLAKE (My favorite)
Ross
Holly
Rick
Buzz
Bring Vanessa back

Also don't care much about Marina, Shayne...too much Reva gets old quickly. I like Cassie and Edmund together, mostly cause I think Edmund is yummy and I always wonder what he's up to.

Trust me, I would have liked to get a lot closer. But something tells me my hubby wouldn't have liked that--he was the one taking the picture! LOL

I also got to talk to Michael Park, Maura West, and Frank Dicopolous, but Ricky just kept touching me.. the others didn't. Not that I minded one bit. I keep obsessing on this, but, the funny thing is, I've always thought RPG was hot, but you just don't understand until he's right there. I felt a little guilty, knowing my husband could see on my face how turned on I was. Teehee. My mom was teasing me that the next time she saw me, I'd be all dirty because I wouldn't wash anyplace he had touched, or even my hair where he ran his hand through it!!!! I nearly lost it right then and there. He did this, then asked my name so he could sign a headshot for me. I literally had to think for a few seconds.. my husband almost had to jump in and tell him my name! LOL And it had nothing to do with him being a celebrity, because I didn't act that way at all with the others. I think I would have been just as flustered had he been any guy I bumped into on the street. He's just that hot.

Alright, enough about RPG. Let's just say I will be watching the show with a whole new appreciation now.

So happy to see this thread! I have also watched this show since I was a kid with my mom...Now I only see it on and off.

Have a question! When the whole "carrie" storyline was taking place, I saw where Jeffrey was in the car with Carrie as she was about to go into the place (i think where she got shot by Marah) and Jeffrey was telling her not to hurt the girls...

Did they ever establish what the connection he had with her was?

Hehe, that's just it. I was determined not to be an idiot.. these are just real people, just like us. I was fine around the others, even able to crack jokes, etc. But when I saw RPG, I just lost my ever-lovin' mind. It wasn't at all about him being a celebrity--it was about my hormones taking over!

I think she had told Jeffrey that Buzz, Billy, Josh and Alan had killed Mary Ann. He wanted evidence from her before he opened the case. There a bit more to it, but I think that is the "bones" of what their relationship was.

Wow, guys, with all that's been going on last week and today on our show, I can't believe no one's posting!

Usually, while I watch, I play a computer game or something at the same time, but not today. I was riveted! Frank pulls a gun on Alan.. Alex gets arrested.. But, I especially couldn't drag my eyes away from the scenes between Gus and Harley. The looks on their faces... WOW. And that slap looked like it hurt! Of course, I wanted to kiss it and make it better for him.

Harley found out Gus had been lying about Alexandra's involvement in the Antimonious drug ring. There was a surveillance tape at the Beacon that showed the whole thing (side note: Why did no one think to check this before? Frank just accidentally finds out there are tapes??? Plus, most surveillance security cameras don't have sound. But, whatever. ), and Harley saw it just minutes before they were supposed to walk down the aisle. Man, both Beth Ehlers and Ricky Paull Goldin should get Emmys for that scene when she confronted him!

Sorry to say but I've never been a fan of Gus' - sorry Hilside. I do think the actor is attractive but I just never liked his character with Harley. I thought Harley should've RUN! when she found out he was another Spaulding man. Come on - what was that the third or fourth she was to marry, lol? Anyway.... I was in tears when Harley recited her wedding vows to Gus today. Wow, it was really beautiful. I felt sooo bad for her.

On another topic, someone mentioned Carrie and my mind went to a different Carrie, the one years ago that was married to Ross and had Multiple Personality Disorder. Does anyone remember that plotline? Whoa, I hadn't thought about her in years. That was a crazy time.

I can't actually disagree with you, entirely. I didn't like them together at first, either. They did kinda grow on me after a while, though. And, as far as the actor goes, I wasn't ALL THAT into him until I met him last week. Now, I'm full-blown obsessed. He's just so... yummy.

I've also been a GL fan since I was kid. I went to the prom at the same time as Phil, Rick, Beth and Mindy. Where is Mindy anyway? I also love ATWT. What do think will happen with Jack? Is he dead? I'm thinking he's gonna show up soon..........I hope so.

There was a rumor a while back (maybe 18months ago) that Mindy was coming back but it didn't' happen. I think they were talking to the original Mindy. I believe she was leaving the soap she was on at the time. Not long after that she started appearing in a lot of comercials.

Just wanted to let you, and any other ATWT fans, know that I started a thread for that show, too, here.

I really liked the way they kept cutting back and forth between Buzz/Alex and Gus/Frank today.. that was really inventive. This story is really well done, IMO, because I'm not sure who to root for. There's no clear-cut, mustache-twirling bad guy here, like so many shows over-use. Many people made mistakes, but they all truly believed they were doing what was right, and agonized over their decisions. I am loving this right now. Which is funny, because I started this thread by saying I was sick of the Antimonious story, and now I can't get enough!
