You can always use the excuse that you got caught by the parade It's the truth!! I just noticed that we will be checking in at Disney World on the same date! Our trip is 9/24 thru 10/1! WOO HOO! Can't wait! Have a great trip!

How fun!!! We are taking 2 of our grandsons and their parents. They will all be leaving on the 29th but me and DH are staying till 10/1 for a little adult Disney time! We want to experience the F&W festival (more food than wine since we don't drink )

I checked at least a handful of times yesterday to see if there were any announcements. Nothing.

So instead let's talk "Frozen" snacks at Writer's Stop. If you've got a sweet tooth, the Marshmallow Olaf is really good. The outside coating is very creamy and tasted different than I expected. The marshmallows are skewered on a Mickey straw instead of a stick. So you have a little souvenir once the treat is gone. We split it 3 ways. It's very rich and while I've never met a confection that was too sweet, this one came close. I'm not sure I could have eaten the whole thing myself. I asked for a bag. And that came in handy for the sticky straw afterwards.

There is also an Olaf candy apple. Haven't tried it. But it looks adorable.

Prepackaged there are A&E Krispy treats. The same creamy coating on the Olaf marshmallows is on this too.

There are also lollipops. I'm pretty sure it's just the wrapper that has A&E.

Are the special Frozen cupcakes at all the major QS in DHS? I am specifically hoping they're at the ABC commissary. I would love to try the Olaf carrot cake cupcake. It looks so good!

Several pages back I wrote where you an find each cupcake. Can't find the post or where I put the guide map that said where.

But it's easy to find the carrot cake. More difficult to find the Anna or Elsa cupcakes.

Going off the top of my head, which is scary because I'm nicknamed Dory, I think you can find the Olaf one at Oaken's, Backlot Express, ABC Commissary, and Starring Rolls. I've only seen the Anna and Elsa cupcakes at the Backlot Express, but I think Starring Rolls has them too.

If I come across the guidemap again I'll post it. Or if someone has a it handy, please feel free to post!

Yes, they are at the ABC Commissary. There are signs up all over the place....I want to say that they were available at every single CS we ate at (which, I guess, is only three...ABC Commissary and Pizza Planet at DHS, but also Pinocchio Village Haus at MK). My daughter kept asking for one every time she saw a sign, and I kept explaining to her that they were carrot cake, and she'd make the yuck face and say "Nevermind" every time!

I was looking at the availability of FP+ for the sing-along this weekend. Saturday is out, but there are still some left for Friday and Sunday.

I'd suggest that anyone planning on getting a return time ticket for this Saturday, do so early in the day. Last Saturday they were gone by 4pm, but that was a holiday weekend.

Thanks Tink for all this great info. Because of your info I was able to get a FP for the sing a long for the day we are at DHS. We have a 9:10 am breakfast at Hollywood and Vine and was concerned how we would have time to go get a return ticket but now we don't have to worry about that!

Thanks great, Bug. She'll love it! Did time pick a time that doesn't interfere with parade? The 10:30 show interferes with parade viewing as does the 11:30. The 11:30 not as bad because if you know your way around you can get to the theater by 11:20 when they cut off fp return.

Take this as a grain of salt, but for the first time (in forever), I heard a strong rumor that the processional may be extended! My fingers are crossed, and so are my toes!

IF it is extended and IF the times of the shows would stay the same, those times would be very good.

Aug 8th was the announcement date for Sept's extension. Monday is Sept 8th.

We went to the 11:30 show on Tuesday. It was empty. Though that made it that everyone got great seats! But we missed the parade.
