**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

I must have misunderstood the original question. Aurasma pictures are NOT included on the Memory Maker. Magic shot pictures are. But the aurasma pics are free and you download them to your phone after you take a picture.

Oh, no, you did understand and answered correctly. gules thought only Aurasma was available for Frozen. But because there are Magic Shots, gules will now purchase MM.

What are the age restrictions for the skating? Are there any other restrictions? I don't want to get my group excited about it only to find out one or two can't. I know about the $10/30 min charge. Thanks! This has been such a helpful thread!

The smallest skate is a Toddler Size 9, according to the Disney Blog, and ranges into Adult Sizes.

- Age restriction: I'm not completely sure, and from what I looked at on the Parks blog I didn't see any restriction. [[From a skating perspective, we start kids as young as 3 in classes, so not sure of Disney's rules (hopefully someone with little ones can chime in on that) but for the regular skating world that's the norm.]]
- You WILL be required to wear a helmet regardless of age or skating ability, as a heads up. No helmet, no skating. No exceptions. Believe me I tried really hard to get out of it, no dice.
- No doing anything that involves your foot being out/up (not sure if any of your group skates, but if they do tell them anything more than a scratch spin is going to be an issue and they'll get the idea) If your group doesn't skate, that shouldn't be an issue.
- You ARE allowed to bring your own skates. Security is aware of this, I had no issue getting through with my skates.
- They have open cubbies for you to use for your belongings (at your own risk) while you skate. I put my whole backpack in one and had no issue.
- You will need to sign (unless it's been shortened from the first day) a really long waiver before you skate, no exceptions.
- You will sign said waiver, pay, and receive a bracelet for a session time to skate.
- They have socks for you, but IMO that is weird and they looked bulky so i would advise bringing your own (LONG!) socks.
- Only hockey skates are available

I know there are a limited number of skates of each size.

Thanks. Didn't know what size the skates started at.

I knew you'd know first hand! Thanks for popping over here so quickly.

I saw someone mention the topsy turkey Anna/Elsa plush, could someone who has been recently let me know if they have seen them. My daughter heard me talking about it and of course is excited, she is saving her tooth fairy money in hopes of getting one but if they are no longer available I want her to know sooner rather than later.
Thanks!

Thank you for all that great info! Do you think the toddler size 9 fits like a toddler size 9 shoe? Or do skates run small?

No problem, Tink!

Does anyone know if the skating rink will be open during the Villan's Unleashed event? & if so the hours? Traveling with another skater... if it's open we will SO be there. :confused3

Thank you so much!

I think it's safe to assume true to size. I usually advised parents of tots at the rental counter to get the same size and generally if anything they need to size up. You shouldn't have a problem exchanging if the skate doesn't fit. They should be snug, but the toes shouldn't curl. I don't know what brand of skates they are using so I can't speak specifically on the fit. I'd say most of the time people go up not down though if they move sizes at all if that helps.

Just remember long socks. This is very important!

Maybe this has been asked but...

We arrive on 9/28. Probably won't get settled into hotel until 4:00. Could we still boat there from BCV and catch a part of this?

Me again,

Forgot to note Kids 7 & under must be accompanied by someone over 14. :thumbsup2

Haha. This is correct. Sorry for being confusing. :upsidedow

Yes, if there are any tickets left. You could see the singalong. Be sure to make getting tickets your first stop that afternoon. Oaken's would be opened for skating and building a snowman. And Frozen Fireworks too.

Lol. :thumbsup2

Im here now. There were a lot of them at DTD - I haven't gone to DHS yet so I don't know if they are still there. I think it was around $32.

You'll need to grab a standby ticket for one of the singalong show times. The earlier you go to pick up the ticket, the more choice of times you'll have. The first show is at 12:30. Not sure if times will change for week days in September after Labor Day? Do you want to see the stage part of the welcome processional or just the parade part? If you want to see the stage part, you'll need to be somewhere on Hollywood BLVD to view the parade. And you'll need to get there before 10:30am. If you want to miss the stage show, you just need to get somewhere between Idol and the Star Tours before the ropes go up at 11am. If you want to do the Funland, you'll need to decide if you'll do that before or after nap time. Allow for an hour just in case there is a queue outside. Because an outside queue means an indoor queue, and an additional queue to build a snowman.

I do want to see the stage show after the processional so I guess I'll try to move my TSMM FP time either earlier or later.

I also saw someone mention that children are chosen to be in the processional - how/when/where does this happen? Any tips to help your child be chosen?

Would I have time to make it to the 1:30 sing along if I have a 12:15 ADR at Mama Melrose? I don't know how far those two are from each other. Also where do you pick up the tickets for this?

Thank you so much for all the info in this thread. I was kind of relieved that FSF was originally going to be over by the time we were there and now that it's been extended I feel like I'm starting all over planning this day!

Any suggestions for a plan of attack for park hopping and arriving around 2pm? Do you think sing a long tickets would still be available. This would be 9/27.

Chances are tsm is all booked and you won't be able to change the time.

The return time for the 1:30 singalong is 12:50 to 1:20. That last weekend I'd expect it to reach capacity early like it did opening weekend and doors to close at 1:20. Mama Melrose is close, but you will have a rushed lunch and need to be in line around 12:50 unless you don't mind bleacher seats way in the back. It's still a decent view. What if the restaurant is behind and you don't get seated right away?

See the first post of the thread for ticket information. Pick up at Green umbrellas.

Children are picked at random. Meet time for the parade is around 10:30.

Go straight for singalong tickets. The first weekend they didn't "sell out" until after 4. I'd expect about the same for the last weekend.
