I'm asking for a friend( my family had an amazing oct. Trip!!) is it still recommended to be at HS at rope drop for Jedi training? They are going the first week in feb. Also, anything special happening that week feb2-feb7? I researched a ton for my sept/oct. trip, but I'm clueless for feb. She's not on DIS, so I thought I would help her out. TIA

Yes, you still need to be at HS before rope drop for Jedi. No, there's nothing special that I know of. I will be there those same dates and was there during that time last February. There were pop warner groups there but I never saw them (we were at POR). There were TONS of Brazilian tour groups celebrating their 15th birthdays. They were rather obnoxious but we would just detour if we saw them (or heard them, they were loud!).

I don't remember seeing any tour groups at the end of February two years ago.

Is anyone doing the Princess Half Marathon? We arrive the day of and I'm in no shape to do a marathon anyway, but I want to send out mental high-fives as we're pulling up to those who are.

February 12th is my birthday. Let the good times roll

That is why I am planning my visit. It is a belated Birthday gift to myself and yes, let the good times roll. So, looking forward to this. I can't believe 3 weeks I will be booking my fast passes. So surreal almost. Just seems like only yesterday (I booked in Early August) that I was booking this trip and talking to a Disney Agent. Wow, so excited, first solo and super psyched already!!!

So, it turns out when our T.A. (a very good family friend) booked our vacation, somehow an extra "E" was put into our last names, and now MDE (MDX, which is it?) won't let us link our stay. Ah, problems. Hopefully we get them all out of the way now and won't have any trouble during our trip! T.A. should be fixing it today hopefully.

I just found this thread! We'll be there Feb. 5-12. Short trip for a few people that has turned into a longer trip for a big group!

It is 2 months, 2 weeks and 2 day's until my arrival to one of the happiest places for me in the world!

My best friend from Sarasota called and let me know she plans to come up for a couple of days to hang out with me! It will be nice to see her again.

It has been so cold here in Colorado that I am hoping for really really nice weather while we are all in Florida (would like to thaw out here!)
