Well, I'm Tricia aka tlenzendorf. This is mine and my bf Brent's 4th trip in 4 years. I went in high school with friend and her family in 1997, with exdh and oldest DD in 2004; Brent went with his exdw and DD in 2005. Brent and I took the kids for "one" time trip in August 2009, ended up going without the kids in March 2010, taking the kids back October 2011 and now him and I are going at the same time as a great couple we just met on that trip. We will see if she shows up here, we met on the October 2011 thread, talked more on Facebook and then us and the rest of our families really hit it off when we had our meet last month.

So tell me about you and your trip!

Woohoo! I think a while back there was a Feb 2012 thread but not many people posted.

I'm Lisa, and my husband Bret and I will be staying at CSR for 7 nights from 2/11-2/18! It will essentially be my 1st Disney trip (I went back in the 80's when I was only 3 so it doesn't really count). My husband has been a couple of times to both Disney World and Disneyland, but his last trip was in the 90's. We unfortunately don't have any children so it will be just the two of us. I am thrilled to spend an entire week there and hopefully the crowds will be low even with the discounts going on during that time.

I'm here, I'm here! I'm katie, and my DH ,Corey,and I will be going sometime in Feb. Not sure when yet, but I got the ok today! We will be leaving the 6 year old at home with the grandparents for this trip. Were not sure which hotel yet, but I know I want it to be a deluxe! Looking at BC or WL. We are going to go for a long 4 day weekend and probably only get a 2 day base tickets to go to MK and Epcot.

Now that we decided we are going, now comes the hard part! Deciding exactly when to go and what hotel to stay at! I know we want to stay deluxe, but I'm not sure if we want to stay at one of the MK resorts or Epcot resorts. We'll only be spending two days at the park for our 4 day vacation, and of course one day we are going to MK and one day we are going to Epcot. I think we will be going the 2nd weekend of Feb because that is usually my DH's one full weekend off a month, but I'm not sure if we are going to do Thurs-Sun or Sat-Tues. Ahh these are the kind of decisions I don't mind making


Also, HI everyone! Let's make these next few months go by fast together!

My bday isn't until March, so we're really going a month early. Just didn't want to fight the spring break crowds.

Staying at POR FQ 2/9-2/16. This trip will just be my husband, mom, and MIL. Never stayed at POR FQ before (prior trips were CBR and offsite) and are really looking forward to it!

We'll end our trip at Universal (2/16-2/18), but Disney was the reason for going. DH gets big brownie points because the trip was his idea!
In fact, he may possibly want to go back more than I do!

Animal Kingdom was as AWESOME resort to stay at, I think it would be really nice for a place to stay if you aren't going to the parks at all. We didn't even feel like we were at Disney when we were there.

Thanks for joining in! We loved AKL, we just stayed there in October. It was so nice, it was relaxing and a welcome change feeling like you were a world away from the parks when you were hanging out at the resort!

Hmmm well hopefully your jellyrolls night will be weds, Thurs, or Friday! I think this vacation is going to be a lot more relaxed for us, so we'll be really flexible. The only thing I KNOW I want to do is the KTTK tour. We're not doing a dining plan either, so we'll probably only do the le cellier ADR I already have and that's it for planned stuff.
