Hey all,

Long time reader here. Thanks to everyone for the all the info and tips that you post.

I tried to contact a Disney rep via telephone yesterday but gave up after waiting on the phone for > 1 hour.

I had a few questions regarding staying at one of the Official Disney Partner Hotels.

My family has always stayed at Disney resorts in the past but we are planning a trip in late Jan 2022 and will be staying the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek, which is listed as a official Disney partner hotel and reportedly shares the benefits of staying at a Disney resort hotel.

My questions include:

How do tickets work? I understand we will not be given magic bands. Do I purchase park tickets separately and then link them to My Disney account? We would like to take advantage of the 30 min early park entrance but I don't understand how Disney would know we are staying at one of their partner hotels for early entrance.

I would also like to inquire if anyone knows if staying at one of the partner hotels allows you to book a lightening lane at 700am as Disney resort guests are able to do. Once again, I'm unsure how this would work and how the app would know you are staying at a partner hotel.

Any information on how this process works would be greatly helpful.

Thanks.

You don't get any of the Disney benefits you mentioned by staying at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek. These "partner" and "Good Neighbor" labels get used as marketing tools but do not always mean what you think they mean. For example, they may only mean the resort is close to Disney.

Here are links to the hotels that actually offer the benefits you are interested in.

The 7 a.m. booking is only offered at Disney resorts and guests at the Swan and Dolphin.
