Ok, so I e-mailed Raglan Rd, since we will eat there for my birthday in June, and because someone else asked about it. I got a response first thing this morning from Aileen Ferguson (Don't know who she is, but she has answered all my previous e-mails and sent me recipes...hehehe).

She says they have celebration cakes that are one size and suitable for 10/12 and start at about $60 depending on what you choose.

Can I order my mini-cake a month in advance, or is it really better to wait until it's just two weeks out? Thanks!

We're dining in EPCOT and want to get a cake delivered for ds's birthday. He is a huge Mickey fan. Any suggestions? We don't want to break the bank.

My theory has always been that the farther out you order, the more time they have to lose your order. But if you need to order it then, go for it—there's no rule about it. :thumbsup2

Epcot can do the traditional Mickey head shaped cake. It's $48 and serves about 12: Vanilla or chocolate Mickey head-shaped cake with chocolate mousse filling, covered in chocolate ganache; only customization is writing on plate.

Ask for the "Mickey Mouse Cake."

Otherwise, you can do the standard "podium cake" that you ask for when you get there. It's $21 and 6 inches, available in chocolate or vanilla. They may have a screen-printed Mickey on white chocolate that they could slap on it if you call ahead to order it.

I want to sit and eat all of that Haunted Mansion cake!!!! Yummy Sooooo good..:goodvibes

Yes. Call the contemporary and they can provide you with the email.

I have called several times.... left my info. Does it take days to get a call back? I know I read something about this on here but I don't remember.....

Btw does anyone know if they can do chip n dale?

Did you call 407-824-2955?

Disney bakeries can do any Disney characters except Winnie the Pooh & Friends.

Hmmm... you might try calling early in the morning (Eastern time), but really there should be someone answering the Private Dining line 24/7...

I'm trying to get a cake for our reservation at Tusker House. The lady I spoken to at the phone told me they can not do color icing or fancy cake. Could I get a fancy cake delivered to Tusker House?

Thank you

Unfortunately, no. The restaurants at Animal Kingdom (except for Yak & Yeti, which gets its cakes elsewhere but also cannot do fancy ones) are serviced by the bakery at Disney's Hollywood Studios, which cannot do fancy cakes.

A list of places at Walt Disney World where you CAN get fancy cakes can be found here: http://disneytravelbabble.com/how-to/order-cake/#fancycakes

We celebrated DD's 6th birthday at WDW recently. I ordered the Princess Package from CRT, and chose the Cinderella cake. It was really gorgeous. And good too! There was also a princess balloon (with all the princesses, the purple one like they sell on Main Street), confetti on the table, a signed card and a really nice tiara presented by one of the servers on a velvet pillow. We had a small group of servers come over and sing Happy Birthday and light the candle for DD to blow out. They cut the cake for us, and offered to box it up to go, but we didn't want to deal with it. Total cost was $112, which included gratuity. I did use my Tables in Wonderland card on the meal, and they applied the credit to the cake. Something about since the package includes merchandise, they couldn't do TiW on it. It was still totally worth it!

This was a Winnie the Pooh cake we ordered for my Aunt's birthday, delievered to Rose & Crown. It was vanilla with a sort of almost banana custard lining...I don't really know what it was, but it was delish! It was $32 and we did use TiW on the whole dinner check.

Don't suppose you'd be interested in emailing me a copy of your cake? It's so tiny its hard to see. I am thinking about booking the birthday package too. If you are just PM me.
Thanks
Erin

If we have a mini cake delivered from CR to HDDR, is there a delivery fee? Do you tip the person and, if so, how do you go about doing that?

I've seen others list the mini castle cakes for about $30, but I didn't know if that was the final cost or if there are fees/tips on top of that. Thanks!

:headache: I can't decide if I want a mini cake with castle for $30 or if I should do the 8-inch for $45. What's the difference in delivery fees? There are only 3 of us, and we are more interested in the "WOW" factor than the amount of cake. HELP!!!!!
