Official DIS Hidden Mickey FAQ Thread - With Pictures!!!

Oh my gosh! My sister and I are obsessed with HMs! We always point them out but we've never taken pictures. How silly! We're going in May and will have to take some pics for this thread!

Hey Alexis, I'm glad you made it!

That Hidden Mickey was found on Google Earth - which means you can see it from outer space! Here's the original thread on it: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1377525

Also, I'm (slowly) working on an Index for this thread - if you go way back to Page 1, then you can see how it's progressing!

Here's one for today - It's not one of my favorites (As in, I can't "see" Mickey very well!) It's from the Garden Grill at Epcot:

Supposedly - It's a side profile Mickey hiding behind the flower - He's looking down to the right with I think his mouth/nose b/t the 2nd & 3rd Leaf - and his eye b/t the 3rd & 4th.

Please let me know if I am "looking" at the right part or if someone has a better description, let me know that as well!

I posted the same pic back on page 25...very hard to see. Mine is a close up of where it is supposed to be! CM drew out the outline for me with a broom and I still really don't see it...but I think I can make out the nose and eye!

If you look where the White flower meets the green at the points of the two (this would be the second green from the bottom ). Between that green and the next one up (third from bottom ) you can see the nose right at the tip and the mouth right under it.
Then between the 3rd and forth from the bottom you can see the eyes looking right towards the white flower. The next green up is his forhead.
Then from the 3rd -5th is his ear.

I can only see the Nose and mouth on the small one from themudd4

Here I decided to just do a paint over it.

No - I can totally see it now!!! I've been staring at that picture for literally years & could not see it!!! Your drawing was great! I "thought" I could see One eye & his mouth/nose, but I could not see any ears. I always thought that it was just a shot from the side, but I understand what "three-quarters profile" means now.

I can see it clearly now - both eyes & ears! I had heard this one described as an "older" version of Mickey & I understand that as well now. It is a little more "rat" like than Mickey is today.

Thanks for pointing that out I'mNoPrince! Man, I even put it on my desktop background for my computer at work so I could try to find it whhile I was "working" and I still couldn't see it!

This one is a little more difficult to see. It's from the grandfather clock in the lobby of the Grand Californian. It's pounded into the clock face.

It doesn't matter if it's been posted or not - feel free to post a 2nd picture! Plus, the thread is getting a little long, so some of the earlier pictures may need replaced at some point! I love that PEZ Mickey - It's one that I have not been able to find myself yet - DDad is a GM employee, so we get to "sneak" into the backstage entrance to TT & I always seem to bypass the queue!

I love the Nemo Bubbles FairyTale Bride! I can't wait to check it out for the first time!

Here's one from It's a Small World - Supposedly, the Clowns' hair is shaped in such a way as to give them Mickey Ears!

So, I was just searching Amazon & found some great news! The 3rd Edition of Steven Barrett's Hidden Micky Book is due out May 25th!!! We are leaving FOR WDW on May 25th, so hopefully it will be out on time & I'll be able to devour it over our Memorial Day Trip!!!

Dadgum - the "bolt" in the middle of Mater's engine has Mickey Ears!

On the first pole to the left as you are coming up the steps to the main entrance at WL. You can only see it during the day.

In the laughing place room in Splash Moutain, after you have come down the last small hill and as you are making a left turn. (before the little gopher comes out of the ceiling) look to your right. There will be a a rope hanging down with some knots tied into it. The knots are loose and they from a hidden mickey.

Thanks so much for posting the rope pic! My DS found this on our trip 2 years ago and we have been trying to confirm it or find a picture of it. I have gone page by page trying to find a pic of this one! THANKS!

I almost took a picture, but then I didn't, but there is a statue of a dalmation in Mama Melrose's waiting area, and one of it's spots is, in fact, a hidden Mickey. My first find! I was so proud.
