What did everyone think of tonight's episode? I liked it especially the evil looks Kayla keeps giving to Lynette.

It took me awhile to realize the new boarder in Gaby's house is Mallory from Family Ties. I know I've gotten older but I think Justine Bateman didn't look too good. Maybe it is because I expect her to still be 16 and look like Mallory

Kayla looks so evil, doesn't she. That little girl is playing a great part!

Justine Bateman looked horrible. DH & I recognized her right away (well, at least I did, he thought it was Mackenzie Phillips from "One Day At A Time"). Anyway, when Gabby told her "you are a beautiful woman" DH & I both went, "whoa, who's she looking at". She didn't look good at all.

The storyline with Kathryn should be getting good.

I just watched last night's episode. I'm really liking the evil Kayla storyline, it will be interesting to see what happens there. I am also curious to see what happens with Dylan and he "dad."

I'm so glad you put "dad" in quotes! I don't know if more happens with last night's episode (we'll watch tonight), but I so don't think it's her dad, and DH somehow does!

Katherine seemed to recognize him as someone that she was able to make mad. She also told him that she was no longer the woman that he used to beat up and he would no longer be able to make her bleed or words to that effect.
Maybe they both killed the real Dad and this guy (Gary Cole) is pretending and hiding facts with Katherine being in on it as well.

This would also explain it being a different Dylan as well.

Katherine seemed to recognize him as someone that she was able to make mad. She also told him that she was no longer the woman that he used to beat up and he would no longer be able to make her bleed or words to that effect.

The comment that stuck out to me was the one where they were talking about how long it had been and they stated 12 years. I would think that Dylan would remember what her father looked like if she is now approx 17-18 years old. 12 years would put her around 5 and that just doesn't add up to her not knowing it was him Makes me think that maybe the "real" dylan is dead....who else could be in the unknown stone marked grave Another thought, maybe your right about Katherine killing the "real" father - maybe she was having an affair with this guy (Gary Cole) and he killed Dylans real dad in front of Katherine but Katherine was pushed into going along with it as he (Gary Cole) used to beat her too and was afraid he would kill her too.

Picked up on it being Mallory right away and I think that they are trying to make her look as bad as she looked. She is playing a drug dealer so that would make sense, KWIM.

My two cents:


I think Dylan is adopted (or a twin) to 'replace' the dead child Katherine has (the marked grave). I think Katherine had a secret affair, resulting in the child, (which she told everyone was her and her husbands) and in a fit of rage (maybe because Katherine wanted to leave/divorce him), her husband killed her lover AND the child.... That's why I think the Dylan we see may be adopted....so nobody would "miss" her young child and still think it was her and her husband's....

Just a thought....

Holy Smokes!!! That was Justine Bateman?!?! I didn't even recognize her!!! I'm glad I TIVO'd the show b/c now I can go back and watch it!

I wonder about the whole Katherine/Dylan thing. My immediate thought, when she returned to Wisteria Lane and couldn't remember anyone (inc. Julie), I thought was that Dylan wasn't the "real" Dylan. I am not sure what happened to the real Dylan ... but you know something is up. Should be interesting to find out.

ok, let's see how much i remember from last night:

kayla was blackmailing lynette ("buy me this or else...") when a psychologist suggested they spend more "bonding" time together - show ended with kayla making threatening comment about penny, lynette slapping her, and later kayla making a call to psychologist, suggesting child abuse....

gaby & carlos' tenant is indeed dealing cocaine, but police already know about it and want to find our who her source is, while gaby is feeling bad knowing she'll have to betray her

edie found out bree's "son" is actually her "grandson" - and edie's "nephew" - and used this to try and blackmail bree - bree came clean and told gaby, lynette and susan, who banded together and told edie she's out of their lives now - no more parties, no more friendly waves - nothing

susan's mother-in-law came to visit, along with lots of sarcastic comments about her cooking, cleaning and everything in between - susan faked going into labor to get her to leave, but 'fessed up to mike, who finally stood up to his mother - at the end of the show, susan really did go into labor

katherine told her ex that dylan isn't his - he had DNA test done, and it came back proving as much - so now he's out to tell dylan that little gem

ok - did i miss anything??!! (someone correct me if i'm wrong here!)

Dylan's dad was watching the old home movies and Dylan was showing where she got 11 eleven stitches on her arm. Then dad asks her to come over on Mother's Day and takes her had as he's talking to her and then grabs the arm and turns it over. Dylan is like stop, what are you doing, you're hurting me. He doesn't say anything, just lets her go but........NO SCAR!

Katherine's ex also suspects that Dylan isn't the real Dylan, as there was no scar on her arm from having stitches from cut on her arm when she was young.

That is an unconfirmed rumor. I heard however, that she will not appear in the season finale, so she's at least not in next week's epidode, which looks great from the looks of the preview.

I think Edie will be back. Given the current state of the real estate market, not being able to sell her house would be a good excuse to return. She also still has the ability to stir up trouble, as I don't think her nephew knew that Danielle was pregnant when he left. In the meantime, renter could occupy the house and stir up trouble as guest stars, and the Young house is still vacant, isn't it?

I think it was right after Danielle found out, and Orson told him to go away, and that is right when Bree and Danielle left for the rest of the season too.
