I've got one thing to say...

Susan is nuts.
Gabby is nuts.
Betty is nuts.
Lynette is nuts.
Danielle is nuts.
Charmaine is nuts.
Bree is really nuts.
Edie is beyond nuts.
Felecia is just off the freaking hook.

Anne

So true, so true............

Of course you forget Andrew is Evil nuts. (but out of your pattern.)

And when did Carlos become such a perfect caring human being? They sure did a 180 on his charater. I guess it made for a better plot line. I still don't buy the whole gabby can't get pregnant story line.

Okay, I was reading US Weekly today and saw an ad for DH. This is what it says:
1 little housewife is stuck in rehab (we know=Bree)
1 little housewife gets revenge (guessing Edie)
1 little housewife has a kid too many (guessing Tom's kid=Lynette)
1 little housewife just wants one (Gabs)
1 little housewife goes 'wah, wah, wah, cause she lost her home' (Suz)

so, guess the "kid" thing with Tom & Lynette is on the money....according to this ad. :thumbsup2 either that, or Lynette is preg again! :scared: :lmao:

What do you think it mean when it says 1 little housewife just wants one? Could Gaby be pregnant too or is there twins?
I thought one of the housewives was support to be pregnant in the last show.

I also found it strange (and totally unbelievable) that Carlos and Gaby HAD to sleep in Charmaine's twin bed. Ummm, they have a HUGE house and there are NO other bedrooms except for the master??? Where are they going to put these kids that they want to have? :confused3
They have to have guest rooms, so why couldn't they have moved Charmaine into a more comfy room or at least if Carlos wanted her in the master, then they couldn't have moved into a more comfy room?? Not as funny I guess? :confused3
But totally unbelivable.

Considering that Carlos mother at one point was visiting them and she had a room, the maid had a room, the writers must think we forgot that part.
The kid too many could be Lynette if Tom has one from a past relationship-that would be one too many for Lynette.
Maybe Susan will be pregnant with Karls baby.
They havent addressed teenage pregnancy-maybe Danielle will get preggers with Matthew. :smooth:

I also think it's a child Lynette doesn't know about, but I think it's a child he had when he was a teenager. I think the woman Lynette saw Tom with is his daughter.

I would hope this isn't the case, we all think it's not an affair, so it would be disappointing for the show to be so predictable

Hmm, interesting possibilty. I took that to mean something happened with the maids pregnancy (or maybe will be a cliffhanger) and they aren't sure they are EVEN getting one (and "just want one").

We'll see! Loved last weeks episode.

I don't get why Lynette would be over the top angry with Tom if he had a child before they got married, especially if he just found out about the child. Things happen and we've all had lives before we met our spouse. I can't see getting mad at something over which you had no control and the other party had no knowledge. Disappointed, yes. Angry, no.

Now, if the child was conceived while they were dating or married, then all bets are off.

Anne, I loved your description of all of the characters!

I took that to mean that Gabs just wants to get/have a baby. She lost her first one, the second was taken back, now the third is a headache pregnancy for her with Carlos doting on Charmaine. In other words, "all I want is a baby". That was my interpretation...... (read it with the emphasis on WANTS not on ONE). And, I believe the "one too many" has to do w/ Tom & Lynette....most definately. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Danielle & Matt were gone from the show as regulars...how many times have we mentioned "where was Danielle" (ie: grandparents visit?)...she doesn't really have much of a storyline....neither does Matt. Besides, the show is called Desperate Housewives....not Dysfunctional Households! :rotfl: (thought the show was more about the ladies anyway :confused3 )

I see it different. He should have told her about his kid before they got married. To find out after leads one to question, what other secrets is he keeping from me.

I agree with you, if that was what happened. But, the only person who knows for sure if a prenancy resulted from a relationship is the woman. If he didn't know, Tom should get a pass on that. Then, I don't see it as being horrible. KWIM?

Funny how thoughts just POP into your mind about this show.......one did so just a while ago.....
Remember Tom bought flowers and went to the theatre?? What if the flowers were for his daughter in a play at the theatre? That could explain that.... :confused3 Like I said....just a thought that popped into my mind! :teeth:

Now if he found out after their marriage he had a child from earlier, he should have told her then and not kept it a secret. So I would be made then too.

I agree with others who say Tom should have told Lynette that he had a child from a previous relationship (if that's what his secret is). There's no way Lynette would have held that against him, she doesn't seem the type, but the fact he kept it secret all these years, she will hold that against him.

I agree... the situation is what it is but the deception and lying would be what I couldn't get over. Either affair or kid or whatever.

The only reason for deception in a marriage is a suprise trip to WDW :teeth:

according to US Weekly: Wives' lives are forever altered--Susan relocated to a trailer, Lynette's marriage is tested by another woman  . But first, through the magic of flashback, creator Marc Cherry tells US "we show how the women moved onto Wisteria Ln.". Continues to say: Will Bree survive the wrath of troubled son Andrew? "Something big happens!" (says Andrew's actor). Gabby has a run-in with ex-fling John (Jesse Metcalf) and ole Gabs learns a secret about housekeeper Xiao-Mei (girlfriend needs more consanants in her name :lmao: )...all on May 21.....this weeks finale!! :Pinkbounc

What if the "other woman" in Tom's life is a step mother or girlfriend to his father (in earlier episodes played by Ryan Oneil) maybe his Dad is sick or something and he is going to visit him.The woman handing him wine is the step mother.
The previews last week showed Bree and Susan and Mary Alice standing in an empty house with boxes-that must be one of the series of flashbacks Cherry is talking about.
I hope they dispose of the Caleb/Matthew/Danielle storyline as I agree it fits awkward in the show. With Betty selling her house though, maybe they will end up dumping this story. :confused3

I read somewhere it was the last season for Betty, Caleb and Matthew.

My take on the Tom thing is that he's NOT cheating on Lynette, nor does he have another child.

I think he's giving Lynette half-truths.

Here's my scenario: Tom is visiting his friend Jerry (I think that was who he said he was seeing in Atlantic City). I think Jerry has offered Tom a great opportunity to run his company(ies?) because Jerry is sick, maybe dying. The woman is Jerry's wife and she's taking him upstairs to visit with his friend.

I think he hasn't told Lynette because Jerry asked him not to as she works for his competition. If she knows, it's an opening for her to use the information to steal clients from Jerry's company. It would be better for her not to know until after everything was in place and his company was secure.

Hopefully, we'll find out soon!

I think this scenario is definately a possibility...and I like it, however, in Season 1 Tom mentioned this horrible thing that he didn't know what Lynette would do if she ever found out (mentioned around the time dear ole Dad was in town and got busted by Lynette w/ other woman)....so, I would like to think it has something to do with that. We only have a few days to wait..... :hyper: and I would like to take this time to mention to any DISer's on this thread about the time difference on Sunday night. I will TRY not to give anything away, (unless you ask), but it will be hard for us EST peeps not to "talk" about it......Not being a you-know-what or anything, just a :teeth: reminder about time difference. :rolleyes1

The "housewife that only wanted 1 child" could refer to Gaby...she could be pregant AND the parents in the original adoption may change their minds and give the baby back to Gaby and Carlos once they realize how much work and time raising a child takes.
