I'm super excited that my trip is getting closer, just two weeks out. It looks like as of now it will be a solo trip. I had hoped some friends would have been able to make it but understand how $'s for such a trip add up quick. Anyway, I will be at DL (I don't have much interest in DCA) Saturday-Monday December 6th-9th. Yes, I know weekend. My main reason for going at this time is for the Candlelight Processional. I am planning to go to the 5:30 viewing on both days would love to view with someone from here. If anyone would also like to ride the Jingle Cruise or IASW let me know. I think Monday will be a more park day for me. Weekend more focused on the CP.

I really am not sure on a plan for a meet which is why I still haven't PM-ed you about that Escape to Disney, I sure appreciate your kindness and effort with this thread in general and Sherry also in the super thread. Anyway, I'm thinking by 4 the latest of being back on Main Street and waiting for the CP. I will ask a CM that morning about that. I will be better prepared on Sunday having gone on Saturday. As for rides, my speed again is Dumbo. Any other solo-ers that weekend?

All I need to put the proposed meet on the first page is date, time, location, and host (or contact person). Once you've got that nailed down, just post here and I'll update the first page!

WOO HOO! I understand your excitement. I just officially paid off the trip. I even have all of the cash and gift cards ready to go. Now I just have to count down the days until we're on the plane

Be sure not to wait too long to decide. Rooms are disappearing quickly! We're at PPH the 14-20th. About a week or two after I booked, at least one of the days was unavailable (except for suites).

Thanks! PPH rooms are still available as of today but decided to stay off-site (Candy Cane Inn) Dec.14-18. Read and heard positive comments about CCI. Will return to PPH in May 2015

I just changed my own plans. Main reason so I will be able to go to my own church on Sunday and secondary so I'll be able to get a little more out of the $'s being spent. I am local and will be getting an annual pass. I've never gone on a weekend to DL and it sounds like Saturday especially will be very busy. The CP was/is why I chose to go then. Thanks to Sherry, sounds like, so far anyway, one narrator for all 4 performances so I will be thankful to enjoy Saturday and maybe twice. Hoping next year for the 60th DL Anniversary, CP will be extended again. Back to this year, This way I will be able to enjoy DL Wednesday-Friday and then Saturday can be more of a restful/browsing waiting for and enjoying CP day, not needing to feel like I want to rush to get on some rides.

I cancelled Wednesday night, and will now be at DL Thursday, December4th-checking out of Candy Cane early Sunday morning the 7th to hop back home to get to church at 1. My dad has said he would enjoy spending a few hours in the park on Thursday. I would love to meet a fellow Disney Board friend on Friday to ride the Jingle Cruise. Saturday for me is about viewing the early CP. Would absolutely love to do so with someone from on here and would make waiting on Main Street more fun, too. We are empty nesters (for the most part)and we have our kids and grandkids out for Thanksgiving so this trip is evolving into our tradition. We will be there 12/23-12/25. hope to meet some DIS'ers. I'd love to meet up but we have a tour booked on Friday and our DS's 5th b-day is Sat so we have plans all day long -- plus we are avoiding the CP as much as possible

So I have NO idea why I have never joined this board, but I was just checking on crowd predictions and came across it, and thought I would check in for my trip! We are going down on the 9th to the 14th, for the first time in 8 long years! First time taking our girls, ages 3 and 4! I am SO excited!!!! Have not been for the holidays since 2002! My kids won't know what to make of this magical place!
