**Official December 2010 Thread!!**

If you bought your tickets before the price increase in August, or you got them from a discounter like Undercover Tourist, just make sure to USE the tickets first before upgrading them. That way, you should get credit for the full then-current gate price of the entire ticket.

Otherwise, you'll just get credit for what you paid, or if from a discounter, what the discounter paid Disney for the tickets (less than you paid).

Not all Guest Relations folks know how to "bridge" the price so you get the full credit. You should have the numbers with you so you can correct them if they do it wrong. Take the December price of the ticket you have, and subtract it from the cost of the AP ($499 pre-tax, $531.44 with tax), so you'll know exactly what you should pay. If necessary, ask for a manager.

Have fun!

I have 6 day hopper passes. I should use all 6 days before I upgrade to a AP at Guest Relations. Is this correct??

Thank you for explaining that Emma!

I am totally going to get this ordered before we leave!

You can edit the photopass pictures and add borders to them as well. You can end up with a ton of pictures between the orginal, the cropped, and borders. It is fun to play with them.

You have 30 days after the first picture is taken to "claim" the pictures on the photopass site. You can add more than one photopass card so don't worry if you have more than one. Then you have another 30 days to edit and order the pictures. You can not add pictures you personally took to the CD it is photopass pictures only.

One tip I have is take a picture of the back of all your photopass cards so you have to code on the back so if you lose it, you still have a way to access your pictures. I take a picture of it with my personal camera and with my cell phone just to be safe.

That's a really good idea! That would be so sad to lose the card, and so easy to do! I wish there was a way they could add it to our KTTW cards...

*said out of breath* Okay! Okay! I'm here!! I just found this thread. DD and I will be there Dec 7-15 @ SSR. What did I miss?

Follow this link..

http://www.disneyphotopass.com/previsitoffer.aspx

and choose the $99 pre-order CD (it usually costs $149).

Go to checkout & purchase it.. then they send you an email confirming your purchase..

Go to WDW, have lots & lots of photos taken with photopass..

Get home, log on to photopass website & view all your photos, add the 'photo cd' to your basket.. then it'll automatically credit your account so it's free :thumbsup2 (you'll have logged in so it'll know your email/log in details)

It's all explained in the confirmation email they send you!

This is the third time I've done it.. I love getting the PP pictures taken around the parks and knowing I've saved money pre-ordering the cd lol :cutie:

Emma princess: x

Thank you SO MUCH for explaining this so clearly. I have been wondering for months.

Now, is there also something with getting a separate PP card for MVMCP nights? Or discounted prints or something? Which I guess wouldn't matter if you're buying the PP CD. Oh no, I've gone cross eyed.

Okay, well I guess I better introduce myself. My name is Brandy and this will be my DD's first trip to the World and also our first ever Mommy & Me trip anywhere. I am suuuper excited.

We are staying at SSR in a studio (although I keep trying to upgrade to a 1 bedroom, and also keep trying to switch over to WL)

We are on the Deluxe Dining Plan and I have made ADR's at:

Dec 8
Breakfast - CRT
Dinner - CP

Dec 9
Breakfast - Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus
Lunch - Les Ches de France (not too sure about the food, I just want DD to see Remy) :lmao:

Dec 10
Lunch - LTT
Dinner - Hoop-Dee-Doo (SO SUPER EXCITED ABOUT THIS!)

Dec 11
Breakfast - 1900 PF
Dinner - Chip 'N' Dale's Harvest Feast at Garden Grill (may cancel this)

Dec 12
Lunch - Sci-fi (another one I am SUPER excited about)

Dec 14
Breakfast - Buffet @ 'Ohana

Special arrangements I have set up are:
Dec 9 - MVMCP
Dec 10 - Sleigh Ride @ FW after dinner at HDD

I've heard that the sleigh rides around FW are super cute because they take you past all the decorated RV's and camp sites and they also play Christmas music in the sleigh. DD loves horses, so she is gonna LOVE this. I am so excited!! :yay:

I just went and pre ordered the PP CD and the Photo Cover Book. When I saw that I couldn't resist. This is just such a momentous milestone for me and my DD, I almost cried just THINKING of getting my book full of Christmas Disney pics. :santa:

The only thing I am very indecisive about (and even started a thread over :lmao: ) is renting a car. Since I will be alone with my 3 year old, I am afraid of her falling asleep at park closing and having to figure out what to do with her while I fold up the stroller and then lug the both of them onto the bus at the end of the night. Also, missing ADR's at other resorts because we can't get a bus. :scared:

I'm still up in the air if we are going to buy the photopass this trip... We've bought it our last two trips, but we've also had photographers at almost every location take them with our own camera as well.

How does it work with MVMCP?

They usually give you a "special" photopass card that you can use to get a percentage off of pictures for that night, but you can add that with your regular card on the photopass site. Those pictures can go on your CD.

Totally off topic (kind of)

I'm a hopsitality management major through University of Phoenix Online..

I'm having to write a paper about two lodging facilities. Yeah so you can imagine what one of them was I chose: resorts. And what am I using as an example in this wonderful 1000 word paper? Well, what else then DISNEY. :lmao:

I mean I've stayed at Disney property enough that writing this paper should be a breeze, lol.

I know we won't be there for the MVMCP since we arrive on the 24th. Are there any free events for Christmas time the week between Christmas and New Years in the parks? We know about the decorations and lights. I thought I went to a concert in EPCOT in 1998. Thanks!

So I just signed up for a professional development workshop for December 13 and as I was doing it, I was thinking, "Oh my gosh, by the time I go to this it will be LESS THAN 10 DAYS BEFORE WE LEAVE FOR DISNEY!" And then my second thought was - "Oh my gosh, there'll probably be several feet of snow on the ground by then!" I couldn't just leave it at the happy Disney thought, could I? :lmao:

This is an unexpected trip for us. For years, I have said that when my Grandma passed away, that Christmas without her would be too hard that first year & I would want to spend it at WDW. Well, you probably guessed. She passed away on 9-30-10. So, I am taking my family to WDW Dec. 17-22. Hubby won't be going, someone has to hold down the fort. :rolleyes1. It is going to be a short and Christmas stuff only kind of trip. So, everyone, hug someone special in your lives and enjoy your Christmas Season at the Happiest Place on Earth!!!
