Thank you for posting the link to preorder the photo pass. I was reading people do that but wasn't sure where to go to do it.

I think we'll do a photopass this time too - we've never done one before, but had some PP photogs take our pics last time and they came out really well. I've heard some people say that they'll take pics with your own camera too. Has anyone had that experience? DH just got a really nice new Nikon and we're bringing it down.

Hey Shanan- welcome!!! so good to see you here! WE are there the 4th-11th at BLT, our new home. we are NOT doing the podcast cruise this year though- real bummer. I didn't know you were leaving Aaron behind on the cruise- how fun- lots of cocktails, right? He'll have fun with Nana anyways! ;) There are a few of us from the moms thread doing MVMCP on Dec 9th- like Kelly.

Hi Michelle! Thanks! I came over here because I saw it in your siggy!
You will have so much fun at BLT though! Is it your first time staying at a DVC? Yeah, we decided to leave Aaron behind one more time, because it is cheaper and I wasn't quite sure he would be potty-trained by December. He is getting really close now, but not fully yet.

Welcome!:cheer2:

There's a MVMCP list here. You can put your name on it if you want.

Thanks for the tip about the MVMCP! I am excited as it will be my first ever party!

Is it December yet? Soon I will be at the contemporary, first time, Christmas eve on my balcony watching wished, what else can I ask for :santa:

Yes, im crazy. I have 72 days left and i have started PACKING!!! I live up in MA, so the bathing suits, tank tops and shorts needed to start being packed away, so of course I started packing them in the suitcases!!!:rotfl:
I do know the weather can very cold, especially at night, but if its 75 degrees during the day, i will def. be wearing shorts!!:thumbsup2

I have started putting things in a laundry basket so they can be packed and a few weeks. We are packing for every type of weather. I agree anything over 70 and I WILL be in shorts and Flops.
70 days to go :banana::cool1:

Hang on to your hats everyone! I think we might be in for a bumpy ride!
Our local weather person stated earlier this summer that we should expect a mild winter in the South-good news for us traveling to WDW in December, but I recently saw the Farmer's Almanac report and it says Florida is in for one of the coldest winters of late!!!!:scared1: I'm hoping by mid-November we'll have some sense of what the weather's going to be like-I want to make shirts for us to wear, but don't know whether to do short-sleeve or long-sleeve!:confused3
I have started packing too, so it's never too early to pack for WDW!:cool1: We're going to start our countdown at home when we have 50 days left! :thumbsup2

I wish I could tell you that by Mid Nov you will know what the weather will be like but Fl. weather is insane. Thanksgiving last year was colder in FL then when we went in Dec. One day it was in the 50's and then 2 days later it was 80.

What I did was made tee shirts and then packed plain long sleeve tees to go underneath if needed. This year I am wanting to make the tye dye shirts for Christmas day and those ones I have no clue what to do with though. Since I think they will look silly with a shirt underneath it.

I'm telling you last year was the worst for packing. I literally was repacking the day before because the forcast changed and then while we were there it changed again. Now the year before was so much better. So who knows.

Looks like you guys will be there around the same time we are! I guess we will have to sit back and wait and see what happens! I have a feeling we will both be very busy in the days leading up to the trip! Good luck!:wizard::santa::wizard:

I wrote a poem and posted it for MCMCP, so here's one for everyone else going to WDW in December-enjoy!:santa::love::santa:
Christmas at WDW
Pack up your clothes and check out your threads,
because Disney World is waiting ahead!
In December things will be merry as can be,
and lots of singing will be heard around every Christmas tree!
Folks will be jolly and decorations of holly will be on every lightpole around,
If you are like us, it's Disney World or bust, we can't wait to be Disney bound!

Coming from Vegas in December and anything less than 70 is freezing to us! I went outside late the other night and thought "Boy it's cold out here" checked the temp. when I went back in and it was 72. Yeah we're packing jeans and sweatshirts and jackets for WDW. :rolleyes1

I feel ya girl! Everyone thinks I'm crazy when I go outside at night and say it's cold when it's in the 70's. But that's a huge drop in temp from our daytime highs of 100. I'm really hoping for a freakishly warm day while we're there so I can dip in the pool just once. I'm so ready for these temps to drop here, though. I put the top down on my car at 10:30 am yesterday, and had to put it up by 11 because I was baking in the heat. It's fall for goodness sakes.... Bring on Disney and the cool weather!

happy early birthday Emma- hope you enjoyed the Lion King- how was it?

We will just miss you. We check into BLT on the 5th.
oh, us too- we check in BLT on the 4th!! our first time home and can't wait!

LOL my fedex and UPS drivers know me by name. I've had them stop in front of the house out of habit. The best was when my UPS driver actually stopped at the kids bus stop to deliver a package. He knew I would not be home and knew exactly where I would be LOL So my DH would be very very very happy if all I had delivered was contacts.
lol, i am sure many of us on the dis are on a first name basis with the man in brown. :rotfl:

OMG! 10 weeks from today I'll be "Walkin' right down the Middle of Mainstreet USA!"

SOOoOOOO excited!
love that song. i listen to the main st. loop on live 365 every am. but i guess they will have christmas music playing in December usually instead.

yeah! Yes, our first stay at BLT. and only our 3rd stay in a deluxe (AKL and WL prior). We can't wait to check out our new home! Yeah, Will is no where near potty trained- not at all interested in it. so we will probably still changing pull ups come Dec, although i can hope otherwise.

I think i will spend this glorious sunday putting together our countdown calendar! it is gorgeous weather outside here in TX- fall has finally hit. the 70s today! and the boys won. can't ask for more.

Looking for some convincing here! I have our trip booked and DH says that it is my choice to go. I am still not 100% sure I want to go over the holidays and when my DSis came today, she thought my kids may be too young to miss Christmas at home. THe plan is to have Santa give the trip as their gift, arrive Christmas Eve, and to have stockings and small things from us to wake up to on Christmas morning. They are 6 and 4 and love Disney. Have you taken your kids so young? Did they miss the regular Christmas routine or was Disney a good alternative? Thanks!

LOL see we are the opposite here. When we went down in Dec it was already really cold in NJ. So when it was 60 we were in tees and jeans and my crazy DH was in shorts. A lot of others were in winter coats. But we actually left for FL. last year and the day after we got 9in of snow. We live about 8 miles from the ocean and we never get snow like we did last winter.
