**Official December 2010 Thread!!**

I bought the 1 yr subscription as I am going in Dec and next May. It does tell you what time to show up for certain rides and walking times and approximate wait times. My only grip is they do not support EMH's. I know some people think they are a big no-no, but like DHS with evening EMH for the Osbourne Lights would be nice to see a plan for.

Today marks 80 days until my family leaves for Disney!!! It's getting so close and I'm getting SO excited. I'm trying to fight it but...I...must...dance....

Flying in Saturday the 18th and flying home Saturday the 25th. A grand gathering with my family of 4, my brother & his girls, my mom, and hopefully my grandparents...13 in all staying at SSR.
I've never been to WDW for Christmas and the closer it gets, the more excited I am getting!
Hope to see some fellow DISers there!

You will love it if you are good natured about the crowds and try not to do everything. I think I cried when it snowed on Main st. decorations are so beautiful and candle light procession and osbourne lights are not to be missed. Have a very merry Mickey christmas.

and just got back from my DL trip last night. had a great time. will be doing a qiuck trip report within my December PTR. lol

very cute! i've checked them out before, but last year, we just bought stuff on clearance at home the year before- like a small tree and some ornaments and lights (for the balcony at WL) and then shipped a box before hand to the hotel. worked out well, but we didn't really use all the stuff we shipped, even though we were there 10 days (not Christmas week, week before). i probably won't decorate this year, maybe our door only or something or a balcony (BLT).

My BFF just called me from EPCOT . ...her family got picked as the "family of the day" and got escorted to the Living Seas pavillion, fast passes for every attraction and were escorted around the park for the first hour by FOUR cast members! They were escorted into Turtle Talk through a private entrance and given priority seating and then they were given priority special seating for Illuminations for this evening! Isn't that cool????

Just visited DisneyMom's to see if anything new was there about Hacienda de San Angel.... read the info about the current Disney Mom's recruitment and wondered what others thought about being a Disney Mom??????

i plan to apply - for the third time. never made it to round 2, but still keep trying. can't hurt! it would mean cutting my vacations 2 days short, since the 'training' starts during my trip (12/4-12/11), but that would be okay.

Hi! I actually used this lady.... http://www.memoriesbybetsy.com/mbb/index.php she's very nice and much more resonably priced than Disney Florist. I told her exactly what I wanted from the parks and the Disney website and she created the basket and sent me a pic of it several weeks in advance. I wanted the castle blanket from the Disney parks site to be added to my son's basket..... I ordered the blanket with my son's name embroidered on it and had it shipped to her and then she just added it to his gift basket. It was great and so easy..... I think I'm going to do this again this Dec.! HTH! Thanks, April

woo hoo- just got my ressie for La Hacienda for 12/4. so not sure if all the seating for table service is inside or outside or what? I was assuming it was on the patio too, but does anyone know for sure? i have a ressie for 8;15pm and was hoping to catch Illuminations from a patio seat. I just don't imagine they would update this restaurant and then make the patio only quick service though?

Is this for 2010, or 2011? A large number of restaurants not owned directly by Disney, including many in Epcot, don't sign onto the meal plan for the following year until December.

It's ok! It's a reservation for dec. 14th. SO I'm guessing it's not included then....darn

I made a reservation for La Hacienda today!! Wooohoo. I made it for 8:15 hoping to see Illuminations. Now of course I am going to relook at my ADRs and maybe add a lunch on that day! So we will be there at 12/22 at 8:15!

It appears the table service restaurant is indoors only, so you have to hope for a window view to catch Illuminations and even then, not sure you would see it all, since it encompasses the whole lagoon. I am keeping my ressie, but we might just attempt quick service instead when we get there if it looks not too crowded. kinda bummed, i hoped the outdoor seating would be for table service only at night. who knows, maybe it could change.
