Official Dancing With the Stars: Spring 2015

Noah is a great fella but in no way does his dancing deserve a spot in the finals.

I'm happy for Ryker and Rumer and would be happy with either winning.

I was looking it up and writing while you were posting. Thanks for the info.
Oops, forgot to quote mizzoufans post, saying she beat me to posting the Derek information.

They all work hard.....but he isn't as good at dancing. And that is what the show is about.
And he has tattoos !! You must not approve of that.

:thumbsup2 Yes, isn't it a BIG dragon tattoo? It's on the side where he had the amputations. I wondered if he put it there to show the dragon spirit in him couldn't be cut off or destroyed by the enemies? If anything, it shows his high self esteem.

I hope it's Rumer, Riker and Noah in third. Noah is not the first one that I didn't think should make it to the finals. Looking at Derek's list I didn't think that Amber should have won, she was another contestant that the judges went easy on and over scored a lot.

Noah doesn't 100% deserve to be there, even though they said they would judge him like everyone else, they didn't. Len even said he couldn't judge him on the elements he usually judged for that dance. While I admire Noah's courage, I didn't enjoy watching him dance. I hope he's the last handicapped contestant they have on the show because we know from the two that have been on that they work hard, have courage and try their best but the judges cannot seem to judge them on their abilities like they do everyone else. I forgot about Heather Mills, they did judge her but then she was not a fan favorite, or a war hero so I guess they figured it was okay to tell her the truth.

There was a rumor a few seasons back that they were going to have a same sex couple, I'm all for gay rights but watching two men do the waltz or two women doing the tango is not my idea of a dance competition. Of course they do not ask for my approval when choosing the contestants.:crazy2: Oh well, story of my life!

I doubt that's going to happen anytime soon. They haven't even had a black Bachelor or Bachelorette yet.

I've read it's because they are afraid of the controversy of it appearing like (the old stereotype of) a black pimp surrounded by a bunch of hoes.

Not sure what would be the problem with a black or ethnic Bachelorette. :confused3

I'm not talking about work ethic. I don't doubt he worked as hard, or harder than the others...but he is nowhere near as good a dancer as the other two (or Nastia). That's my opinion.
That's my opinion too. But I knew that he would make it to the final-3.

This is one of the few seasons where I am happy with all three finalists. All of them deserve to be there for their own merits.
Yes, Noah is not the best dancer, but he has proven he can be a showman. He can dance (although he's not perfect) and he can show emotion in the dance making for a good performer.
Both Riker and Rumer are better dancers and they both deserve their position in the finals as well.
Dancing with the Stars has always been a popularity contest as well as a dance competition. The three most popular are worthy this season.

I think who wins is honestly going to come down to that freestyle. I think that it will be interesting to see who brings what to the table. Allison is very outside of the box with her dancing. Val excels in traditional. I'm not sure about Sharna I can see a mix from her.

I agree. If the judges hate it then that team will not win. There haven't been that many times when the judges have really not liked the freestyle but it has happened. I also remember Bristol's year, when not many thought she should be there, the judges put her in third place and that's were she stayed. I think they may do that with Noah, I'm not sure how it works but I think it would take an overwhelming number of votes to rise from third place with the judges to first place winner. That's just a guess but I have noticed when there is someone that they thought shouldn't have made it to the finals that they put them in third place.

Same with the audience. Remember Marie Osmond's scary doll dance? :scared: It gave me nightmares afterward. :scared1: I think that's why Jonathan probably hasn't been asked back. That he could actually okay her freestyle dance.   What was he thinking? :headache:

Can we not bring that up, I don't want nightmares tonight

Worse. I actually liked Marie until her freestyle.

Me too. When I was a tween, I dreamed of marrying her brother, so she would have been my SIL. :lovestruc Yes, I was one of the people voting for her as long as she was good. But. then. she. did. THAT. DANCE. :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :faint: :faint: :faint:

Even from here, I could hear the collective horrified gasp from all of Utah. :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

I don't think any of us voted that night. We were too dumbfounded & paralyzed with horror. :scared:
