I honestly think Nastia will go home, it seems most people are voting for the other three.

Nastia has always said she doesn't really know how to show emotions but we've had other gymnasts on the show who have...even the skaters are same way.

IMHO - for whatever that is worth:

Rumer - love her and her dancing. I think she should take it.
I do see where she could push/practice just a tiny bit more and really get those over-the top 'lines', etc.
I have always her performances were just one teeny, tiny, bitty, bit away from AMAZING.
In this field. she should take it. I love that as a woman who has not been a big dancer, and who has had self-esteem issues is just so drop dead gorgeous and such a talented dancer!

Riker - Love him!!! The guy has such a flair and musicality and talent that he really deserves to be a contender.
But, somehow, I just don't feel that he should take the trophy.
That dance that Juliette choreographed and stared in, did NOT make him look good.
He was just standing in the middle the whole time, turning from side to side between the two women.
Juliette did not do him any favors.

Nastia - OMG, she is another Olympic Gold Medal Performer.
But, I have never been wowed by her as a 'dancer'.
Derek, of course, is an amazing genious!!! But he and Nastia might not get this one.

Noah - Of course one has to like him.
And he has done SO well!
There were a couple of dances recently which overcame his limitations/circumstances, and were amazing.
But, I don't think that last night were among them.
Like Riker, I don't think that the choreography and performances last night did him any favors.
As much as one loves him, I put him last when it comes to who should win.

Is anyone else hysterically laughing right now at ABC showing the "eye roll" twice in that opening??? Erin is typing up her letter of resignation right now..

Are you sure about this? The show is taped before a live audience. The judges may just be off, back in the green room munching, or Carrie Ann in the bathroom snorting or drinking or whatever she does to make herself so manic, as they don't NEED to be in their chairs or even watching the segments they aren't in and the cameras aren't focused on them.

Yes, because I was at a live taping of the show several years ago. The audience shows up about 2 hours before show time and there are things that are taped at that time and inserted into the show later. All of the actual judged dancing is live. For example, in the results show, the celebrity performances are taped so any dancing pro that are still in the competition don't have to miss being with their partners during the live show. It's also how they are able to make some of the big set changes. They do it while the taped part is showing.

Also, the judges and Tom are not miked to the audience. I sat behind the judges and had a very hard time hearing them. The mikes go directly to the TV feed.

If you're watching now, the big dance number to R.O.C.K. in the USA is taped... notice the judges are missing.
