Official Dancing With the Stars: Season 19

I am going to have to TIVO this so I can fast forward through Julianne. I don't see how she can give a score each week to her brother and to a long time friend (Mark) and have it be fair.

Depending on who the stars are, I might not even bother to watch this season (and I have watch every other season).

She blasted Mark her first time as a guest judge, so I don't worry too much about him. But I really don't see how she can fairly judge Derek. I almost feel sorry for the celeb Derek is paired with, because a lot of fans are going to dislike them from the get go. I think more even than usual, because of the Julianne as a judge thing. Unless, of course, he gets some type of America's sweetheart. Which will probably happen.

I saw a list floating around the internet the other day from a DWTS gossip site with a list of potential celeb contestants. The list included FOUR Real Housewives. That can't be true - at least I hope it isn't! I've also seen Shania Twain, Tommy Chong, some soccer players (Landon Donovan maybe?) and a wrestler/MMA person's name being bandied about.

I had the same thought. LOL

It does make a me a little sad though. Season 17 was a real snoozefest for me as I never cared about any of the contestants, I hated that they got rid of the skybox and the one night format was a bummer. I felt like last season the show got back on track a bit even though it was still just the one night and I was hoping that would continue. But four Real Housewives, Tommy Chong and a wrestler is not going to be enough to get me to watch.

When I heard that Julianne was going to be the new judge, I was hoping that it meant she was replacing Carrie Anne. She isn't, though. I would have been perfectly fine with that. As is, I really see no need for a fourth judge.

And please oh please let the rumors about the 4 Real Housewives just be rumors. I've never seen a single episode of any of those shows, but have never been dazzled by any of them whom I have seen on other shows. Oh gosh. I just had a terrible thought. What if that Jenny/J-Wow girl from Jersey Shore is going to be on? She was on Marriage Boot Camp earlier this year, so she is clearly clinging to her 15 minutes with both hands and she just had a baby. I can just see her going on it and saying she is doing it to help her lose the baby weight. Oh please no.

I don't know if it's true, but I just heard that one of the confirmed Stars is Sadie Robertson from Duck Dynasty. I didn't think she was old enough! Very sweet girl, but not a good fit for DWS, IMHO.

So glad they decided to keep her.

DH told me last night Lolo Jones was going to be on. I know she has her controversies, but she's from Iowa so we'll be watching for her. (Shawn Johnson was who got us started watching in the first place!)
