I read they were quarantined together earlier in the year. Maybe they made up.

He's probably doing damage control. He does a lot of Hallmark movies now. Cheating on his (then) fiance of 13 years, with not one but TWO females, on the same day even, so makes him not look good for the wholesome, family-oriented, Hallmark brand.

According to EOnline, Jesse's ex is now dating Jared Leto's older brother. That article is dated a couple weeks before the time the stars had to quarantine with their pro partner for DWTS.

So, maybe he's be doing an, "I've grown up, realizing what my actions have cost me," most memorable moment?

I just thought of something. I remember I said this when Jesse first got cast:

With Jessie Metcalfe is on DWTS, that probably means we won't get a Hallmark Christmas movie out of him this season. ALL 40 of the Hallmark movies are supposed to be filming about now, to make up for the COVID hiatus.

Maybe Jesse's on DWTS because he got fired or suspended from making a Hallmark Christmas movie and his Hallmark mystery movie series, after his two-fer cheating fiasco, and now has the TIME to do DWTS. I hope I'm wrong, that that thoughtless stunt hasn't blown up his relationship AND his career on Hallmark.

Although, one of his movies was playing the other night. I remember seeing it on as I was flipping channels. (After Lori Loughlin got fired, they removed everything she did from the channels.) So, maybe being on DWTS has helped him, if the heads at Hallmark have been on the fence about him. Maybe, they are seeing he's getting enough votes to stay on. The general public doesn't seem to have known or be as bothered by the cheating as they were concerned about. And if Jesse says he had a, "Come to Jesus," moment and really seems contrite, he gets his career fully back on Hallmark. (I'm just speculating. )

(For those who don't know about the Hallmark Channels, they have a stable of actors & actresses that they use steadily. If one gets into their stable, they are pretty much guaranteed 2 Hallmark movies a year: a Christmas movie and one later in the year. And the movies they've already filmed re-air over and over, so they get residuals for those each time they air.

One has to do a real bonehead move, like Lori Loughlin and the college admission cheating scandal, to get booted from such a sure thing that being a favorite Hallmark movie actor is.)

Sorry, couldn't wait. Had to Google. Turns out you were right, Jesse was filming the next installment of his Hallmark mystery series in Canada. YAY!!! And the 5th season of his other series, Chesapeake Shores, has been green lighted.

But, eww! This is how the the kiss scene had to be done on his movie, in this Post-COVID time.

"Before he left he had to take a Covid-19 test. As the movie was filmed in Victoria, Canada, Jesse had to quarantine for 14 days before he was allowed to wander beyond his hotel room.​

But, before he could start shooting, he needed a second Covid-19 test. That is because he could have gotten it on the plane ride. [. . .]​

. . . Jesse is also executive producer. So, he was hardly going to balk at what needed to be done to be safe while kissing a co-star for the new Hallmark mystery.​

Both Jesse and his co-star [...] both had to use a topical spray on their faces. After they filmed the kiss, the two have to each use a special mouthwash that is to be used after a kissing scene. Jesse failed to share the special ingredients in this special preventative concoction.​

Thank goodness they only have to go through this “rigorous” protocol once to protect the cast and crew. This is Hallmark!"​

I think Monica has improved so much in the last 2 weeks. When she first started, I didn't think that much of her. But, Val is a good teacher. And Monica understands form. So she knows to hit the spots and be precise with her arms & legs.
