they are! Both have married and have kids now. Amy ended up adopting from haiti I believe.

Ugh! It's worse. According to the Bachelor Nation fandom wiki, Kaitlyn Bristowe's mother was a ballerina. (So, Kaitlyn grew up probably knowing the right, graceful arm placement and leg extensions. Which is a big part of looking good and graceful even when one flubs a lot of the steps.) And for Kaitlyn's occupation, it lists Dance Instructor.

Derek was on GMA this morning. He announced he's coming back as a JUDGE.

No mention of Len or if he's replacing someone, or if he's coming on as a 4th judge. He didn't mention the other judges at all. Neither did George or Amy, who interviewed him, even though they showed old photos of all three judges.

I think if he is joining them as a 4th judge, he would have stated that. He'd have said something like, "I can't wait to see and work with all of them again."

It's confirmed. Len is definitely out and Derek is replacing him, not being added as a fourth judge.

I like Derek but that's not enough to put up with Tyra. Not a very good list of "stars" either, I know two of them so don't really care about this season. I just hope Tyra is gone by the next season.

Grrrrrr... this really irks me. I don't watch the Bachelor, so first off I don't get the popularity of these people when they cross over to DWTS. Secondly, why do we have to have a ringer every season!?

It's a contrived cross over popularity. Both shows are on ABC. And since The Bachelor(ette) is on Mondays in the alternate months to DWTS, ABC figures it can try to pull the viewers who would have nothing else to watch on Monday nights, to watch DWTS.

well I'm not happy that they ditched Tom and said at first I wouldn't watch this season, but...

I also have no idea who most of the "celebrities" are either, but then I tend to mostly watch Bravo and HGTV.

I'm curious to see Anne Heche. I remember she was in all the magazines back when because she was kind of a kook. Wasn't she found wandering around babbling ghosts or aliens or something? This was back when she dated Ellen.
