Official California Grill Open ADR Watch Thread

So what time did it open up? I got on at about 6:20 and got a reservation for 7:20 (I wanted 7:30 but that was not an option). Was it open at midnight as some had suggested? Or did people really hop on it in the 15 minutes it took me to wake my daughter up for school?

Will 7:20 get me some firework action at 9:00? I figure seating doesn't even really happen then--normally a wait.

Next question: Can you request a window seat?

Got ours for December too! Wasn't sure if Sunday, 12/8, or Monday, 12/9, would be better, as in less crowded. Made a ressie for both and will cancel one when I decide for sure.

Thank you to everyone who updated everyday on the status of the California grill, you have no idea how much it helped to calm my nerves !!! This is the only place DH even mentions for ADRs !!! I got all 3 ADRs for December

Kinda surprised I really got it that easy. 6:18 am and it only took 2 tries
I have 7:25 reservations on Sept 9th - Official opening day. I consider myself lucky because we are only in WDW until the morning of the 11th

I think that it getting pushed until the crush of summer was over as a good thing. congrats to everyone else on getting their ressies

It opened at 5:53am. I have a 7:30pm reservation and I have typically been seated within 15 mins of the reservation and see the 10pm Wishes during dessert. However, we order sushi, apps, en tress and desserts typically.

I would say 7:20 for 9m Wishes is fine

Yes you can request a window seat when you check-in but there are no guarantees and not all window seats offer great views of Wishes....they do however all offer great views of the Seven Seas Lagoon area

Yay! Thanks so much for keeping this thread going. I was able to snag 9/26 (for us) and 9/28 for my brother and SIL- both at 7:30pm! We will kid swap so we can each have a date night!!

Just made another reservation for the Princess Marathon Weekend. We got Friday night Feb. 21st booked at 7:45!!! I was thinking why not! A treat to my DD and myself.

My buddy got on about 30 mins after me and got us a better time. 5:15 vs 7:10! How did that happen? So we can go earlier now for the kids. I'm very very happy. Now I got to email Donald about our DD cake for her 4th B-Day! I'm so happy they will be doing it again for her. They did her 1st B-Day cake too!

If anyone is looking for dates in Feb. they are slowly opening up dates. I really wanted Feb. 23 but the dates were not open. NOW they are opening up so keep checking the dates. I just got the date I really wanted and booked it and cancel the other.

Just checked. Mine is correct.

Yea it seems to be HOW you search. If you search from the main dining search screen it picks the date of your "last" search even if you selected a different date. The best way Ive found is to go into the actual restaurant page and search from there.

Was able to get dinner at 7:45 on December 5 for Holiday Wishes for my party of 6! Whoo hoo!
