Would it be cheesy if I got a cake for my DH and DS's... like a welcome home, merry unbirthday. Since he was gone we all missed his bday and the boys bdays he missed. Thought we could make up with by doing a cute cake on our 1st night in the world?

I don't think it is cheesy at all. I can not think of a better way to celebrate even if it isn't there birhtdays. At Disney any wish can come true!

I've been working my way through this thread throughout the day, and I just can't seem to find the answer to my question. If I order a mini castle cake can it be delievered to WCC? or can I order a mini castle cake through the WL bakery or is it just at the GF bakery? Thanks

I don't think it's cheesy. I've ordered a 'welcome home' cake for my DH. I'm not sure what he will think about it but wanted him to know that I really missed him and want to celebrate he's home.

Yes that was my birthday cake that my fiance had made for me -I know nothing about price. Just it was AWESOME and I didn't want it cut - every woman around me at dinner agreed it shouldn't be cut. It was truly a masterpiece the pastry chef's at the Yacht & Beach are over the top!! He wanted something very special for my first birthday with him. I think he proved that and then some!!!

The ribbon that the PP's son has, I bought my nephew the same thing from the Disney Store. It also comes with a birthday hat. I bought mine about a month ago. I think I got it on sale for like $7.

It was a white cake with custard filling. They couldn't put fruit in it because of the shape.

I've had white cake with custard filling, chocolate with Chocoloate mousse filling and a white cake with white chocolate mousse filling all were awesome. Their cakes are very moist and flavorful. I always order my special cakes for my dinners at the Yachtsman. All of my special guests at my dinner have always raved about the food and the cake.

Wanted to share some BEAUTIFUL & delicious creations made by Sandy and the Boardwalk Bakery. These cakes were for my husband & myself and our best friends...we share the same anniversary week and decided to take an "adult only" trip....LOTS OF FUN!

Chocolate cake with white butter creme filling and chocolate fudge swirl icing and white cake with white butter creme icing for the person (I won't mention any names) that does not like chocolate...can you imagine not liking chocolate, really????

I don't alot were taken by family but I haven't rec'd all of them yet.

It was a incredible cake - I didn't even want to know the price of it - there was so much detail there must have been alot of time put into it.

I am trying to picture it, is it made out of white chocolate or what? Would a boy like this? My brother is taking my niece and nephew to CRT and I thought maybe I would surprise them with their dessert. Thanks all

It does seem that Y&B Club is making the nicest cakes now. I think GF is burned out on making them, & is very hit or miss with more misses than hits lately.

I have signatures blocked as well, but only because some people have 6 lines of text, and I hate the extra scrolling at work, haha. Anyway, if you click on the person's name and select "View Public Profile" you will be able to see their signature.

The picture in the signature is too small for me to make out the details, but I do see Tink on a cute base. A large picture would be awesome.
