So sorry! I forgot you were in Canada. I know there are lots of Canadians on here! I still think its very cool you were a torch bearer and you will be noted in a Olympic history book someday (if you aren't already, I'm sure they track those things and people like to learn about them).

Just want to say to August group. We are leaving to our very first trip to DIsney for 11 days starting Aug 27 - sept 7.
Family of 5, we will be at Pop with free plus dining.
We also will be upgrading to Annual pass when we arrive.

Question- how do you keep your ADrs confirmation numbers? In phone, on paper, emailed to yourself? I have never needed them but of course I do want them incase.

I put all of our plans/confirmation numbers on my iPod using the pages app. I also use the park map app instead of the paper ones you get from Disney I just found it more handy.

I just everything in the calendar of my phone as an event. In the event description I put the name of the restaurant and the confirmation number. I have an alert to go off 1.5 hours before just to make sure I get there in time

I think this is a great idea of setting the alert. I will defiantly be doing this.

Our trip is 8/16-8/21. We are going to Disney World and Sea World. The last time I was there I was 6 years old. I'm turning 40 in a month. My DH has never been and we are taking our 6 year old DS. I cannot wait!!!

Hello and to this little corner of the DIS that we like to hang out in. We are going on our second trip (first trip to Sea World) last year it was my dream trip this year it's a recurring dream.

Just found the cutest Princess And The Frog window clings on Amazon! Figured they were fitting since we are staying in a Royal Guest Room at POR. Picked them up for $4.99 to hang on our window. You would think I have little kids lol

I would love to have a team August Mickey head. I am just now joining the thread. My dates are 8/29- 9/5 and we are staying at POFQ. I have been listed on the sept. thread for a while now and happened to pop into this one. You are all Disney dreaming just like me so I figured I would join in where the action is happening.

oh cool, i did not know you could run in other communities, i thought it was all locals. I know ours was a local.

I know I was shocked when I was told not only would I not be in my own city but not even my own province. I an so glad it turned out the way it did because buy having to travel for a full day it felt more like an event then if I just drove a few blocks to Portage Ave and did my run then go home all in one day. Not that that wouldn't have been great as well.

For my ADRs I just use the pages app its the same idea as word on a PC. For the map I use WDW maps app.

What do they charge you to laminate items ? I went after work last night and purchased laminating material at Walmart. I have lots of things to laminate on my days off this week. I have been a little skeptical about using this material but was going to give it a shot.

If you got the laminator that uses 4x6 sheets your going to want to resize that LGMH, it prints to about 9" as is. I resized and printed at about 3.5" high and used my own laminator. I laminated it once then put another sheet over and laminated again. Then I cut out around it (as you can see in my pic under the LGMH designs). I wanted something a little heavier duty than the single laminate and it came out great. I also laminated our jetBlue True Blue "cards" that can be printed off. As keepsakes for my daughters sweet 16 I laminated some of the Mickey head confetti that we found around the castle and a FastPass and some confetti from the table at CRT. Those work out great because they fit right in the pages of her photo album. The first week I had mine I was laminating everything! lol

I got a Target red card a few weeks ago, which saves me 5% off my purchases. It is an automatic debit card, straight from my checking account. I saw on the Dis that you can use the card to save 5% on gift cards. I gave it a shot today, and it worked! It doesn't sound like much, but we have to pay for the dining plan and pay to upgrade to our APs, so we still have about $1100 to pay for our trip. I figure I can get my gift cards through Target first, then save $60 for the trip. Hope this helps someone else!

We will be there from 8/24 - 9/4 so maybe we will run into you. We are staying at Coronado Springs. We are doing free dining too! I love it because we don't have to worry about paying for food.
