Warning, this is long........ I've been in May, Oct & Nov. My trip in May (09) they had record temps (was 95 the whole week only 1nt it rained). It was HOT but the humidity wasnt THAT horrible. ..... Love to hear about trips in Aug.
We've been 4 times in August. I just had a May

I've suffered from hydration so I know to stay away from caffeine and alcohol sticking with juice, Crystal Light drinks and water. My Hydroflask is wonderful for that. It keeps ice and drinks cold all day and doesn't sweat.
A coolie bandana around my neck wetting it throughout the day helps. Freezing wash cloths and putting them in a ziplock bag with ice for cool swipes during the day is better than dessert.
In my camera bag is a super absorbing swimmers towel & silcia packets that absorb humidity and clear kitchen garbage bags. For camera "fog" up going from air conditioning to the outside. Seal your camera in a large ziplock bag while in your room then put it inside your camera bag. Don't take it out until the outside of the zip bag reaches the same temp as the outside.
We have a Misting bottle fan to pass around that will hold ice in the base for a cool mist

Our daily touring plans are centered around air conditioning. We go to the parks early for EMH or late EMH. Last few times we did late EMH more so than early. I love taking pics at night!
Our WDW ponchos are in the bag but it has to be a monsoon before DSs wear them. An umbrella. The best rain memory is of DSs running out into the rain dancing around.
We have so many more wonderful summer WDW memories than bad ones because of the heat. Really looking forward to this August
