I have 17 days to go, and I am 70% packed. This time our oufits are in Ziplocs. This trip there will be no searching for everything. In each Ziplock is everything!!!! and I agree the preperation for going on the trip is 1/2 the fun.

Each time I completed one ziplock, I felt like I was saving time in Disney. We will be that much quicker to the parks.

I only have 4 days left!!! I started making my "clothes piles" all over my bedroom. I agree with all the others who say that the preparation and anticipation are as exciting as the actual trip!!

I have NO IDEA how I am going to focus at work today cause I am so excited!!! DD still does NOT know about the trip and its getting harder and harder not to say something about it in front of her.

We are almost 100% packed - just need to add those last minute items we need until we leave. Oh, and I will double check everything one more time before we leave.

We pre-ordered our Photopass CD and checked in online last night. Its sooo close but it feels like the next 2 days are going to be soooo long!!!!!!!

I started making piles 2 weeks ago. I have 2 piles in my bedroom, a pile in DD room, a pile the dining room. I am sick of the piles and have started moving piles into suitcases. By 4 days to go I hope to be 95% packed with just the clothes and things we use daily.

Now I will start making list of things I need to get at the store (Motion sickness pills) or pack at the last minute (cell phone charger, hair brushes)

We'll be at SSR from August 30 - September 6.

I have 18 days to go! I am a nervous wreck! I have put together the "outfits" that I want and have them hanging all over the bedroom. Just have to pack for myself this trip supposedly...Granddaughters and their mother are supposed to pack for them all. Have a feeling the night before we go, I am going to be packing for them too! I have convinced them to use the ziploc bags. It will be so much easier for the girls each morning.

I have to buy the small stuff and make lists for......and here I sit!!!

Our living room is one big mess right now with everything strewn about trying to figure out what goes where and what we might still need. Taking the day off today to sift through it!

The last time I went to Disney (also the first time) was 2005 and i'm finally going back!
I'm almost 18 this time so in some way I think i'll appreciate it more being a few years older and realising how amazing the rides are, the shopping, the atmosphere...everything!

Nervous, excited...so many emotions.


Packing is 60% done.

In TWO DAYS from this moment​

I will be in the car on my way to the airport!!!!!! I have been planning this trip since last September after signing our DVC paperwork and I cannot believe we are going to finally see going to hear our first ever "Welcome Home to Kidani"!!!!!!!

I have done online check-in, preordered PP CD, made all ADRs and confirmed, prepared and printed itinerary, touring plans are printed, maps are copied, all outfits are packed for each day in large ziploc bags, toiletries have begun to be packed, box has been shipped to resort, Garden Grocer order has been paid, Walker ECV has been confirmed, Disney gift cards have been bought by kids. All I have left to do is put socks, underwear, and toiletries in suitcase.

As a treat to myself, I am going scrapbooking with some friends who DON'T get my WDW obsession at all!
