2 MORE WEEKS!!!

I can finally see a weather forcast for the first day that we will be there . I know that it's not that accurate this far in advance, but it gives me one more thing to do while I count the days

Camafrog - I think it's time you get everyone else to pack for themselves or I would never travel!! LOL! I bet you have a GREAT time with your crew! Do you keep the older ones with you or do you let them go on their own?

I have yet to pack - just throwing a few things into a carryon bag while I can. Our trip is a secret for our kids so I can't let them see me planning or they'll know right away. Had a tough time explaining why I was picking up the water/fan bottles last night at Walmart, but luckily we have friends who are going in Sept and I was able to pawn it off on them.

I am one day away from my singel digit dance and im getting very excited!! I started to pack... aka throw stuff in my suitecase to sort through on friday. I just need to get my shopping list into wegoshop and i will be all set.

Got my suitcase out today. Started packing a few toiletries.
Now the decision of which bag to take for hand luggage.

Can't wait until Sunday! Only thing is, we have an early flight so will have to get up early hours of the morning and go to the airport and..i'm not a morning person. But if Disney is at the end, it's worth it!

11 days left now! I haven't really started packing yet, though, so I'd better get caught up on laundry now. It's SO much fun when the weeks leading up to our trip are so busy.

10 Days until we arrive at Wilderness Lodge!

I'm pretty much packed. We've got DD's suitcase packed. DW hasn't even started packing yet!
DW and I are taking this Friday off for her to finish packing and to double check health and beauty aids, and make any last minute purchases of things we realize we need.

Leaving on the 23rd. Arriving on the 24th. I started taking the clothes out to put in the suitcase. I packed the electronics bag last week. Made sure I have chargers for camera, cell phone, laptop and ipods. Extra batteries, sd cards. Need to pack gameboy and ds for kids. cartridges. Long train ride from NY -----21 hours. Mom, Daughter (22) son (9) and grandson (2). Need to pray for me. LOL

but if i want it done right i need to do it my self they do help.
As for letting the older ones off on there own we are not sure ?
They do know there way around for the most part{why do they have to grow up}

Oh my, how do you function?? lol How many people are you packing for? I pack for 3 DH, DS/13 and myself. My family tells me I shouldn't be packing for my husband, he's a bigboy now When it comes to the big vacations I can't let him do it, he would bring his work around the house shorts..... very nasty No stains, spots, crusty things on his clothes. Actually part of the joy, for me, is the preparation. Go figure.

Your not alone! I always say to my wife that half the fun for me is the anticipation, then the preperation for the trip! In many ways, as much as I get excited about an upcoming trip, I never want it to "get here too fast". Once it's here, it's over all to soon, LOL.

Speaking of, I can't believe our next trip is just over two weeks away!

I am getting toiletries ready for my son (I probably should not). He is leaving Wed. the 12th w/his girlfriend - will be there til the 18th I think.

I am getting toiletries ready for my daughter who will be going with Amtrak with her friend and family for the girl's 16th Birthday (I help her pack a day or two before). She will be there more or less the same time as dh and I.

I am also getting toiletries ready for my other son (and probably should not, lol). He is going with his girlfriend more or less when we are going.

So I basically pack only for myself and help my daughter. My husband packs his own. We just got back from a week in Cancun so I know if I need it anything.

I am known for taking the house with me so the earlier I start, the more I bring.
