The Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party is now OPEN for APRIL!

Thanks so much for posting this - I would not have thought to check today

DH gave the OK to add it and I got a CM on the phone (on hold only about 3 minutes!!!) and we have our ressie for April 19th 9pm.

To be honest I think I'd stay in a tent if I could go more often LOL!

I'd love to stay in a Deluxe... but if it means I can make twice a year trips, Value or Mod it is for me! Maybe when the DH and I go just the two of us we'll splurge for a Monorail hotel so we're close to MK and Epcot!

+1 on the Thanks, Just got April 26 9PM via website, we have a BOG @ 6PM too - its my DD 8 bday this day - we start the day at the BBB in the castle @ 8AM, will def need a break in the day

Ooooh you are lucky to be able to go often. We are coming from the UK, it's our first time, and I'm not sure if or when we'll be able to do it again! Also my DS needs a bed of his own as he has special needs & we don't drive so we are seriously pushing the boat out for this one, as we want it to be as good as it can for our needs. If we lived nearer and I thought we'd be able to do it again or more often we wouldn't be staying where we are. But we intend to make the most of this stay . I hope you get to do your couples trip one day

At 6500 for the trip, 1000 in gift cards for spending money, 450 for a car rental, 600 for gas and 500 in hotels for they way up and back........I think I'll skip out on the desert party this year.

On a side note, my sister just called to say shes planning for next April, so guess who volunteered our family to go with her????

We drove last month for the first time. We 95 most of the way. We are driving again in April.

We don't always drive, this will be our first time. We actually usually take Amtrak out of Boston. We are planning on going95 all tge way diwn with an overnight in Richmond VA and anitger in Savannah GA

Nice We're at POFQ. We've stated there before and loved the boat to DTD. To be honest I think I'd stay in a tent if I could go more often LOL!

Camping at Disney is where I draw the line....
Considering you can stay off property in a hotel for the same as it costs to camp at Ft. Wilderness, luckily I'll never have sufficient cause to stay there. I think the only exception is if you're traveling with a LOT of people, because I think you can pitch several tents on a single campsite.

The only Deluxe I've stayed at is AKL and it was totally worth the money (with the discount we got, it actually ended up being around the same as we've paid to stay at moderates). It's the more expensive places that are harder to stomach. I think I price out staying at the Grand Floridian or near Epcot every time and it just doesn't fit.
I'm really hopeful that DH and I will get to do a 5th anniversary trip next year though, and I wonder if I can convince him to do a split stay? I think he's already attached to us staying at the Wilderness Lodge for our next Deluxe trip though, which I can handle. Although I'd kind of like to save it for our next Christmas trip.

I think I could even handle staying at a value for a few days if it meant we could spend some time living it up at a Deluxe!

Richmond was around where we stopped last time, but only b/c we hit awful rush hour traffic for 2 hours.
If it wasn't for the traffic we easily would've made it to NC. NC is the goal this time around.
My parents are driving with me on the way home so we may need to stop twice. I'm hoping not though.

I just booked the Dessert Party for 4/20 9:00 for 2! I always come to this thread first and it was the first thing I saw. Thanks for posting. It was like literally the last thing I needed to book. I am super excited. We love the party and the trip is just that much closer. And now we wait. Well, work and wait.

Got my ressie for the party!! 4/23 at 9 for party of 5!! It's our last night there- we fly home in the morning! Hoping that's the best way to go out! We have never tried it!!

Totally lucked into BOG ressies and actually booked our trip around them. Special day for my mom deserves special reservations, even if they are past her bedtime!!
