"Official" 2024 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

My plan is to have t-shirts with a hoodie/pullover for if/when it’s cool. It’s such a toss-up in December, but I’m figuring we’ll get use out of t-shirts for at least part of our visit. There’s a cute understated embroidered pullover on Etsy that I have my eye on for when it’s too cool (green quarter-zip with a Minnie head silhouette embroidered on the chest in red with a red polka dot zipper pull).
Good plan. The pullover sounds cute. I have a little shoulder/sleeves knit thing that I plan to bring if it gets a tad too chilly for tshirts and a jean jacket. My issue is the old age struggle with hot flashes lmao. Lately I tend to run close to hell hot on the regular so I have to factor that in to it all too

So we’re officially half way to Christmas Eve Eve Eve… impatiently waiting on an announcement 🤣

As for outfits for the party, I’m planning on doing matching family t shirts that are Christmas theme for the 8 of us going, I figured that *could* be warm when we enter around 4, or it *could* be freezing, so we’ll pack a long sleeve shirt to wear under the t shirt for a layer.

I also got all 8 of us the matching sweatshirts last year from target so we have that but they are not Christmas theme so they will probably be used another night during our trip!

I love summer and fall and would never wish it away, but this thread is making me long for the wonderful Christmas atmosphere at WDW, especially MK. So glad we are returning again this early December, only missing 2020 since our first Christmas season there starting in 2001.

Here is a question for anyone with experience with the TRON VQ at the party - how long are those lines - is there a terrible wait time? Worried about the VQ for TRON taking up a lot of party time. Thanks!

My DD and DW both rode Tron at both of the MNSSHP parties we attended last year and while we didn't time it, they didn't wait long and we were still able to see characters, shows, ride other rides, and get plenty of candy. I would imagine that it would be similar at MVMCP.

Last year we were in line around 15-20 minutes including putting belongings in lockers and going through each section to arriving at ride vehicle, we asked for the front.

I hope he's right about discounts possibly coming next week.
We do a 4th of July trip every year @ WDW. I clearly remember making the time to take a break in the parks while on vacation, to book tix for another vacation :o

Most would think it sheer madness, at least I can admit it here among like minds lol

I have had an advance booking window for one trip open in the middle of a different trip, it’s usually not too bad and means you have something to look forward to when you return home. The worst is when a booking window opens while I’m on a DCL sailing (or airplane). Their internet connections are not up to the task of Disney competitive booking.

Is anyone else planning holiday themed outfits to wear to the parks? I’d love to see your ideas. I’ve officially got my park outfits planned/ordered and excited to enjoy my first actual Christmas season. (We went in 2012 the first week of January so caught some decorations a few days but missed all the park fun).
A few of mine!
