We're going to one of the Christmas AH events. We haven't spent money on Disneyworld since March 2020, that's how we are justifying it. Plus, our special needs son has been dropping hints with WDW YouTube videos for months.

We are so excited about this! We love After Hours. We've done the regular MK After Hours two times before and the low crowds were amazing. We paid $129 then so this is a bit pricier ($169). We've never done a Christmas party so for us, we compare it more to just an After Hours event with Christmas mixed in.

First, it’s Tuesday morning for the resort guest presale (hate for you to waste time on the wrong day); second, we don‘t have any confirmed details on timing. The number listed to call is: 407-939-7947, and theoretically, they should be available online as well, but you know Disney IT so…

Also, as a DVC member purchasing for one of the “discounted”nights, Does anyone know if I’ll be able to buy tickets for my whole party (6) or only those who have an AP or a DVC discount?

I honestly think $169 is a decent value - certainly not cheap, but a reasonable price for what you get, given the price of a Disney vacation right now. $229 is just obscene to me, and that's all that's on offer for our trip.

Do you have a DVC or resort reservation during one of the party days? The early pre-sale on 8/17 is only for resort guests. Just being a DVC member doesn't qualify.

My daughter and I are going to try something crazy. We are from Minnesota. We found airfare for 132 round trip. Booked All star movies for Nov. 9. Going to try to get tickets for party that night. We would arrive at noon on party night. Take ME to resort. Go to party. Sleep,and fly home onthe 10th, plane leaves at 3. We have booked the room. Can cancel if it does not workout. I think we can try for tickets on the 17th since we are staying on property. Please correct me if Im wrong. If we get our tickets we will book our airfare. Sure hope it all works out! Wish us luck!

Yes. No discount on popular/expensive nights

You should read up on the Boo Bash thread and maybe even ask over there. I know some people who rented points had issues with the CMs not recognizing their reservation, probably because it's technically the DVC owner's reservation. I don't know if they ended up just waiting for the regular sales day or figured out something. Sorry.

I’m going to it, too, for the same reason, plus I’ve never been to a WDW Party or AH event. I do remember the nighttime parade, SpectroMagic & miss the nighttime parade! I hope you all enjoy your trip & the Christmas AH event!
