Yeah, sweat isn't the problem. But runners spit, blow snot out of their nostrils and breathe deeply and forcefully in and out. All of those things can spread this.Through sweat? I have not heard of that before.
Quick search makes me think that is not true unless it mixes with other contaminated respiratory bodily fluids, but I could have looked at a few wrong articles.
